If you can, get down there on the first day of your sale and speak to the staff in person.
Thanks very much for info - very helpful
I think I am going to try and get to the ground. Ticket office opens at 9:15?
You mentioned you got there at 8:15? Was there a big Q at 9:15?

The guy at the ticket office this morning said they were open from 8.15 and not 9.15 as the letter says.

I'd get there nice and early.

Is there anywhere on here that people can post to rent their season ticket out for a season? Doesn't look like the club is going to do an amnesty and I'm doing all home so I'd like to rent one.

People usually just say in the Ticket Info section. Might be a few this summer as lots of new STH who might not have the money...?

Common sense prevailed at the TO yesterday - my mate was due to get his on Thurs but went to collect his match tkt for Basel and explained he wouldn't be back then so they said he could get it then!!

Had a choice of three blocks I think but went for U7 row 79. Looks a bit high to me but good views judging by the seat selector page, and one less thing to think about Thursday when he's travelling back. :thumbup

I was eligible to buy on Friday - Monday.  Spent all day on the phone on Friday unable to get through.  Managed to get through on Saturday about 10:00, got in U4 row 80 (I wanted an isle seat).  17 years on the waiting list.

How many rows in the new stand?

93 rows.

Looks like there'll be a fair few restricted views in U1 & U9 - esp 250-272 depending on row of seat in U9).

When you click on an available seat at http://www.liverpoolfc.com/seatselection you get a view from the seat of the pitch - the Kop roof means you won't be seeing throw-ins from 15 yards onwards - or Milner taking the corners (some would argue this is no bad thing as you can see the 1st man he'll be hitting from it... ;))

Doesn't appear to be a discount for these restricted view seats - £834 - same as seats a few rows to the right where are there no restrictions on views.

Got mine on the 1st day (May 9th) was 150/151 on waiting list. Took an hour to get through.  I was offered high up in Centenary, high up in U5/U6 and some ticket in L9. In my opinion the tickets above row 70 in main stand are a little too high (don't get me wrong I would have taken them if that was all they had), you can see the roof of the other three stands and see outside the stadium.  That takes away from the atmosphere.  In the end the most important thing was atmosphere and 2 seats together, so went for L9 in the row 20's, directly up from the corner flag by the kop.  Pretty happy with this outcome.  I also think the best seats in the house now are in blocks KL and KM, you have the Kop just to your left and you have an awesome view of the main stand.  Alas there was nothing going in there!

Best of luck, I was on the list for 22 years!!  Don't forget to buy a pair of binoculars, an oxygen mask and some climbing gear if you choose tickets higher than row 80 in the main stand.

I don't mind being on hold but going on hold for 5 minutes then having to call back is beyond annoying.

My sale day was today.

Started dialling at about 9.12am and after redialling about 6 times finally got through.

Not a great of what I would consider being 'good' seats available. Nothing at all in the lower tier of the main stand. All of those went to existing STH moving out of the old main stand.

There were a handful in both upper and lower Centenary, most in the wings.

I was keen on being in the new main stand but options were limited.  I preferred to be lower down over nearer to the HW line, if I had to choose between the two. Anything near the HW line and sections towards the Kop were row 83 and higher.  For me too high up with the roof blocking out the sky and feeling a bit 'enclosed'.

In the end I opted for U2, Row 60. Second row of the upper tier, which isn't too bad for me.  There were 3 seats next to mine still available, if anyone fancies occasionally sharing season tickets. I want to bring my two young lads a couple of times a season.
