Brought in 'Ibra' last week in readiness for this double weekend the week after. He doesn't start! :lmao Forced to bring in Rashford. Giving him the captains armband too. Have to agree with one or two out there, but this has been an argument that's surely been going on with that lot.

Negrado as captain? Wow really? Smells like a classic mistake to me. One that I pass up on and that others end up gloating about. As per.

In January I was in 408th position in the RAWK league. I am now 136 or 9. Aiming for top 100. Many thanks to the 270 odd for dropping out.

Probably the first double gameweek ever where there's not one player I'd fancy to captain. I'd argue that the likes of Sanchez, Alli, maybe Hazard would get more points as captain than anyone from a double gameweek but who knows?

I was thinking zaha or benteke but couldn't captain them vs us. Zaha in the team but went with negredo. Boro are shite but he is their main threat and their fixtures aren't too difficult

I signed negredo and didn't get in benteke

He does have a pretty good record vs us too. Few times he chewed up skrtel and spat him out.

After the minus 8 debacle I'm on a net 25 points. Robertson (5), Daniels (14) and king ( 8 )

Decent start with a long way to go

Played bench boost this week and have Jakupovic, Robertson, and Llorente getting me 16 points. Lovren (on the bench) and Origi to play tomorrow so another clean sheet and a couple of goals would be welcome. Also have Boruc, Smith, and King for Bournemouth so 2 clean sheets and a goal there too.

Was miffed to see Valdes get an injury for the double gameweek. Had him all season! I'd used my free transfer up, but in the morning, I thought, well, I'll probably get my four points back if I put in Guzan over two games. Had Jakupovic? (Hull) as the sub keeper.

Why did I think that was a good idea again?

So the shame as my footballing soul is torn apart. Yes....

I transferred IN and CAPTAINED big bad Christian Benteke.

I had to make four transfers this week so was -12 to begin with.

Next up please let Aguero tear United a new one, and United not play Valencia.

Decided to play Bench Boost this week as thought might as well use it.  Have dirt cheap subs who I never normally pick.  Buy Martin De Roon has only gone and scored!  Had him in my squad for months and don't think he's ever earned me a point before! :lmao

Saving bench boost for WK 37

That's definitely the play this year, the way it has worked out.

I played it earlier in the season, because normally there are not enough extra double-point games at the end of the season to be able to play the wildcard you need to get them in AND be able to choose enough players to have double pointers throughout your subs bench as well as your team. Anyone who can play that double whammy is in for a points bonanza.
The eternal silence of these infinite spaces frightens me

i got a big points haul last season for one week but unfortunately the one player i didnt have was sanchez, then i couldnt get him in the team and every team around me had him and he goes on a scoring spree

we do a manager of the month in work. one of only 3 game weeks in may so hopes are high.

also in a lot of other leagues and hoping that can vault me up. i notice one of the leagues im in was harolds cross greyhound and they seem to have conveniently deleted their facebook and twitter where their league was advertised

edit: didnt know they closed altogether. genuinely surprised at that

Think I'm on 65 and still have Aguero to play.

Have pinned back some 20 odd points on rivals this week, around 20th in Rawk as well.

73 with a Sane hat trick to come later.

Smashed my way into the RAWK top 100. So proud! On a side note, the overall comp is littered with Liverpool fans!  I'm just outside the top 500,000 overall which I think is fairly decent but I'm just outside the top 100,000 Liverpool fans.

Saving bench boost for WK 37

I played mine this week because I have the Swansea sub keeper and that big Polish lump at Leicester who never play.  and De Roon had a double game week with two reasonable looking games so seemed like the best time to play it.

Feel like I'll lose some ground that week if everyone else plays it then though!

I used it too. Would've had a good score had Clichy played and Aguero scored. Only ended up on 68 or something. Triple captain on Aguero in week 37. He should bag a few goals then.

Still got all my tokens saved up.

Planning on playing the wildcard this week to set-up for Bench-Boost/Triple Captain in GW 36 & 37.

Never really bother with using all-out attack, as my 5th midfielder always tends to be someone really cheap who's unlikely to outscore my defenders. (been Fletcher for most of this season).

Gone for Kane as he has a good record in the derbies.

Bought in Gabbiadini but though captain was a risk.

Benteke is a great choice although he hasn't scored many at Selhurst Park.
