Over the years Andy Gray was annoying at times but he is a lot better than what they have there at the minute.

Also a lot of football memories involve him commentating so his voice goes well with football in my opinion, if you get what Im saying.

James Richardson, is a 24/7 stone cold Super-G. If you want some football presented, he's your man.

Sunday nights, Monday and Thursday afternoons. I'm his.

That is sort of my thinking on it, but more that he doesnt fair well with the casual footballer observer which is the bulk of the viewership. I guess they may think he's up his own arse. That was my first of impression of him anyway all those years ago until I got the scruples to realise he's a massive legend wum.

Whilst the coverage and punditry is as bad as anyone else's at least there isn't the massive pro manc bias that you get on Sly Sports, epitomised by the senile ballsack Martin Tyler. I can't believe people still rate the fella, he's does my tits in.

Was watching SSN before the BT coverage and the contrast was stark. Absolutely nauseating build up to United's game last night, then flicked over to find Humphrey, Ginola and McManaman pretty much hitting the nail on the head regarding Moyes, even if it was unintentional.

The sooner they snatch the bulk of coverage from United's propaganda machine, the better.

I'd say it's more along the lines that TV bosses are fucking idiots who treat viewers like fucking idiots.
They want someone bland, inoffensive, a pretty face who won't scare the casual viewer. Hence Jake Humphreys.

To quote David Simon talking about The Wire: 'TV executives are always interested in the casual viewer. Well fuck the casual viewer'.

Jimbo would never get away with saying stuff on the PL coverage like he used to on Football Italia:  'Parma are the Pamela Anderson of Italian Football - a great pair upfront, but with a dangerously exposed rear'.  So he gets the niche/hardcore European gig.

That's the long and the short of it. How else would Ben Shepherd get a gig presenting football?

Could not agree more!!

Last night on SSN they led with United's 2-0 home win vs bottom of the league Cardiff over the Merseyside Derby!! Also the fact that Liverpool won by the biggest margin for 30 years in a game which is also vital in the chase for 4th between two teams higher up in the league than either Utd or Cardiff is apperently irrelavent because Tyler's and co's new golden boy Janujizz (Tyler is so far up his arse its unreal) doesn't play for either Liverpool or Everton

I'd imagine it might have something to do with the fact they didn't want the game that had been live on BT Sport being the top story.

Gray and Keys must have some serious enemies high up in Sky somewhere.

Their reputation was just starting to fade and talks of Gray becoming a commentator again, then BAM this comes out.

Presumably all the women there for a start.

How many lewd videos is that now? More than likely they were like this all of the time. It would be awful if TV takes a massive backward step by bringing either back permanently. They're a footnote in history and that's where they should stay.
