Shite, right in the middle of meetings. Probably for the best. Won’t be able to handle the hysteria when Rashford puts them ahead!

Yeah, he looked a bit out of his depth from what I watched. Still only his second session with us so hoping it's just him getting to grips with things, but certainly not an ideal way for your star striker to announce himself to his teammates. The stuff on Twitter is ridiculous though.
Not just the stuff on Twitter

Quote
I remember reading Gerrard's autobiography where he said the best players he played with just had 'it' from the first training session. He'd look around at the likes of Carra with a wry smile, whereas if a player was a bit shit in the first few sessions, there'd be a group of players who'd go 'here we go again...'.
Here we go again

Watched the first 30 mins of the open session and, admittedly, Nunez looked a bit off it - misplacing passes, looking timid, then in the shooting drill blasting his first three shots at least 10 yards over the bar (before the camera cut away).

No worries, I thought - it’s, what, his second session with us? He’s still rusty and probably still a little nervous. I go online and he’s getting absolute pelters! One of the negatives of having these kinds of sessions recorded live I suppose. To be fair I logged off shortly after and didn’t see anymore of him, but I hope he managed to ram some of that negativity down the naysayers throats. Early days for our boy

Come on Redmen!! As so it starts again. As Klopp says, never a friendly against them. Will be good to see a mix of old, young and new. They have been training for longer so should have the edge, except we are better than them. I have meetings, so will record on LFCTV. Looking forward to a run out again.

Not just the stuff on Twitter
Here we go again

Some right whoppers follow our club these days.

When one of the greatest managers that this league, and I mean going back to its inception and not when sly invented football, has ever seen decides to buy a player, then you trust his judgement, you listen to his words and you shut the fuck up.

I hope for Darwins sake he gets an early goal in his LFC career. Like Crouchy, he'll get all the support he needs at the game, but the media and the twatterati c*nts will be all over him, comparing him to "Human rights except when it involves shit loads of cash for me" Haaland. There will likely be a few "fuck off you thick c*nt" posts thrown at posters in the HT threads if he is slow off the mark and the nonsense starts .

Someone rightly brought Rushy up earlier, some people could do well to learn our history and learn how to support.

I watched most of the training session and I'm confused about how anyone can draw any sort of conclusion from it, there was very little attention paid to individual players, perhaps a bit more on Nunez during and after getting treatment on what was presumably blisters, he understandably looked like he was struggling a bit then.

I wouldn't expect to see anything of him today, which will obviously add to the weird social media panic.  It's like people have forgotten the clubs recent track record regarding scouting and evaluation.

Pretty sure we've still got three days to return Nunez as long we kept the receipt, I wonder if thats why he came off early yesterday.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Do we have to pay the flight costs of sending him back?

If so, get rid quick as fuel costs are rocketing.

If Benfica are anything like ASOS, they'll pay the return fees for us. Maybe we could even say we've sent it back and he's got 'lost in the post' and then use him to model our kits (he's obviously good for that, if not the actual football part).

Ah pre-season where everyone demands 100%, 4 goals and a world-smashing performance

(Not realising that it's a kick about and a build up to getting ready to play football when the season actually starts with the first game of the season that actually matters against Manchester City in the Charity Shield)

It offers 2 payment plans monthly and annually. I couldn't see a way of getting the 2 weeks free trial without signing up so I paid the monthly which was less than a fiver. I'm not sure how difficult it is to cancel.

I know this wasn't very helpful but thought I would throw you something :)
