Considering all the fuss over lack of signings, our bench will be strong on Saturday. A few selection headaches.

I think we all know he brings that to the party. And he's Captain material around the dressing room. If he's fifty fifty to avoid injury I can see him being one of the players klopp would much rather keep. No room for sentiment, but I'd hate to see him go.

#LFC have received an approach from Lyon for Xherdan Shaqiri. Told the two clubs are still “a long way apart” on valuation but talks ongoing. Liverpool keen to recoup a figure in the region of the £13m they paid Stoke in 2018.

Sorry mate I'm going to disagree with you on Neco being excellent. He seems like a nice lad but I don't think he has the physicality to play on our team the way we need him to. There were multiple times players made runs ahead of him and he opted to conservatively pass back to Konate instead. Compared to Tsimikas on the opposite wing, not much was created down that right side.

Physicality wasn't an issue for him tonight, agree to disagree - I thought he had a really good game.
