Wouldn't swap him for any other young player in the world. Think he was our best player for the last 2/3 months of last season and by the looks of things his upward trajectory will only continue.
Will be interesting to see if he's used as a striker alongside sturridge at all this season. He's already shown he's our best number 10, winger, even right back.
So so excited to watch him develop.
IMO, the only player in world football that he definitely won't be as good as, is Messi. And, most likely, Ronaldo. Otherwise, he can be as good as he wants. And he could be our best player for years to come.
If he and Coutinho - who also seems to have stepped up in pre-season - can stay fit for a whole season, it could replace most of the loss of Suarez.
I wonder, though, of the extent to which the superior finishing of Sterling and Henderson is due to the reduced pressure of a friendly?
