They can't appeal to CAS that has already been said. Also, they've already tried to stop it getting this far and here they are being charged with 101 charges. If they get found guilty they will have the book thrown at them, there is no other alternative now.

I love the way people say stuff like this. I am guessing you were also saying nothing would actually happen at all weren't you? Yet despite City's lawyers playing every trick in the book they are today facing 101 charges. Also, the world will be on this case there is no way the PL can afford to do anything other than seriously punish them should they be found guilty. Think of the teams who lost the chance to play in Europe, the sponsors cheated out of their own revenue. This is way to big for a mere slap on the wrist.

The key will be that is only a small piece of the evidence, they will have to open all of their books, especially if they want to appeal etc. The Mancini payments are a smoking gun and it probably doesn't need to meet the criminal criteria for a conviction.

In the end the other 19 (18) clubs can still vote to kick them out.
