I haven't put my own guess in yet, absolutely no clue where it's going to land at this point. At times I'm bullish that Sunak has comfortably run the worst election campaign in modern times and is so uniquely disliked for a Tory leader, even by his own party, that Daredevil Davey might just pip them to 2nd. Then at other times I'm swayed by reporting that Reform's bubble may have burst, that some of the Don't Knows have finally succumbed to the 'supermajority' nonsense and plumped for a gritted teeth Tory vote, and they'll rally around and hit a solid 150.
Whilst any Labour majority is to be celebrated over the alternative, I think I'll be a bit disappointed if they end up with as many seats as 1997 and managed to avoid any significant names getting embarrassed. No party should come back from the kind of damage they've inflicted on us for the past 14 years, but they're political cockroaches.
