Mourinho is quite alright when he's not managing. His analysis before and after are really good

if anything, I think he's closer to Luis Suárez than he'd admit - they both want to win at all costs, good publicity be damned (though Mourinho's own style is far apart from Luis' thriving on chaos), behaving like utter c*nts on the pitch and riling people up. They behave normally and can be quite complimentary far away from the pitch

And yes, Mourinho, for all his faults, knows a lot about football. He might be an unlikeable egomaniac that clashes with his players but he's not an idiot.

It's because the average word in German takes just over a minute to say and the avergae sentence is eight minutes, twenty four seconds. This makes all German commentary on live sport problematical. But especailly so with such a quick-moving sport as football. Therefore German football commentators are expressly told only to start talking when there is a dead ball or just after a goal.

Shaquiri is walking with his head down and only sees the ball as it passes him by. Suarez puts his arms up to claim for... something...
