Good win but a lack of ruthlessness, good goal keeping from foster and just god awful set piece defending made this much harder than it needed to be.

Well in Redmen! I was listening to the commentary on LFCTV. Any other day we would have run away with it if Can and Firminho had bought their shooting boots.

Just need to take our chances next time. Not too worried about things in the long term as we've usually been clinical in these situations.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Karius is a bag of nerves. Genuinely think Mignolet is better.

Apart from that gripe, we were magic.

Yes, let's come to that conclusion after a few games. Bellend

Klopp will be pissed more about not getting that clean sheet considering how comfortable we were.

Got a bit complacent at the end and let them back into it.

Need to be more clinical, but can't complain too much - joint top of the league after our set of fixtures is impressive.

3 points is the most important thing, forget the goal difference until it really matters! Should not have been that nervy at the end, but hey that's the Liverpool way.

The Liverpool of old would have folded at the end there. Well in Reds

Really need to learn game management.

Really? You're going to give away the odd set piece no matter how well you manage a game. That's just football. And i'm not sure how it'd help us be better in front of goal.

Outplayed them for 90 minutes and happy to finally beat that anti football tactics crap. Should have scored at least 5 goals today, just did not have the margins infant of the goal in that second half.

Really strong performance against another bus. Movement and passes was sharp and precise. First goal was just a brilliant attack..

A bit disappointing in the end. We should have won by 4 or 5 but we didn't take our chances. Once again we give away a soft goal from a set-piece against a team who only had one shot on target (I think).

It was a brilliant display but giving a way that soft goal took the edge off it a bit.

Our keeper looks suspect under crosses.

What the fuck is he on? Can they do it against the chelsea's and arsenal's? Haven't we played them ypu bellend?!

Anyway, Good win. Should have put it to bed earlier.
Was thinking that myself. Apparently we've played only the smaller teams...

Glen hoddle is a bellend that game should've been out of sight before or usual heart attack last 10 minutes

What the hell was he on about when he said we neede to turn it on against the bigger teams? Didnt he know about Arsenal and Chelsea?

Set pieces almost undoing a dominant performance again. I get scared every time we have to defend a corner.

At what point do we seriously start asking questions about John Achterberg?

Ever since his tenure as goalkeeper coach, every single keeper seems more terrified of crosses than Dracula. There seems to be absolutely no evidence of coaching in this department.

All about the three points at this stage. Keep on looking after ourselves and as we have seen today the others will slip up. On to Palace and hopefully another win.

Disappointing to concede but we could and should of scored 5 really so can't be pissed off at the performance at all.

Things ard looking good if we can keep getting 3 points from these games.

A bit of a nervy finish but at the end of the day happy with the 3.points, should have been a lot more comfortable. Still not sure about Karius though, doesn't really like an upgrade in Mignolet
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

Henderson missing the next game is a bit of a bummer, but he would have picked up another yellow by January or whatever anyway.

Needlessly nervy in the end. Unlucky not to go 4 or 5 up before their goal.  Good win though and the league table makes pleasant reading.

Apart from defending set pieces we are improving defensively greatly .

Crystal Palace next week will be another big defensively in that regard.

He is a bag of nerves.
So there's really no need to go around insulting people just because they say so.

I see nothing in his game so far to justify slotting him straight in the first team, but fuck if I care since Mignolet ain't all that much either.
Klopp's call really.

Yeah but at least it's in the league cup against what I imagine will be a extremely rotated Spurs side

So what?

Shall we keep him in sticks waiting for the inevitable error that will cost us?

And to be fair to Mignolet, he's been great this season.
