RIP Sammy Smyth
« on: October 25, 2016, 12:13:59 am »
Passed away 23rd Oct 2016, aged 91. Played for us 44 times between 1953 to 1955, scoring 20 goals. Did not know too much about him as a player, but would love to learn more.

@ Veinticinco de Mayo The way you talk to other users on this forum is something you should be ashamed of as someone who is suppose to be representing the site.

RIP. 91 is a ripe old age and he would have seen a lot. He retired to the Cayman Islands it says after also being a bookie. A pro footballer, a bookie and then you retire to the Cayman Islands. It seems like he had a great life.
