Sahin pulling the strings in the middle. Looks a lot fitter than he did against Arsenal. Assaidi looks dangerous whenever he has it. Concerned about Carragher vs. Lukaku.

Both goals are just delightfully bonkers. Having two 'controllers' and a 4-2-3-1 really is blunting our attacking play.

Downing has been rather poor. Yesil has made some good runs, but I don't see how we would score our next goal.

Didn't think that Mulumbu tackle was a red, it wasn't out of control and a yellow would have been right, but our inability to talk to the ref and tell him that it should ABSOLUTELY be a card might have let him off the hook.

Mulumbu - could have broken hendersons leg, that tackle was worse than shelveys - No card
Wisdom - he clearly got the ball - booked
Yesil - stayed on his feet after a blatant foul and lost the ball a second after so no advantage - yet no free kick given

Excellent possession play from us. Sahin and Assaidi have been very impressive thus far.
Shocked that Mulumbu got away with nothing and Wisdom got booked.

Oh and not surprised to see the commentator take an obligatory potshot at Suarez

Another day, another game and yet another ref fucking us over.

Missed the 1st 10mins but look good from what I saw. Couple of shaky moments at the back and how Mulumbu got away with that ankle high challenge on JH is just a joke.

Assaidi and Sahin playing particularly well, and the side is keeping the ball pretty good through midfield. Carragher having his usual mare against a striker with pace and/or physicality, and the less said about Downing at this point, the better.

Looks like we're laboured with another c*nt of a ref, though. Fuck off Oliver.

How good was Sahin's goal? Commentator said it was a 'long' shot or something, and that's it, hardly the most vivid description

We're playing quite well. Giving them very little time on the ball. Sahin is playing really well and Assaidi looks like he could be an exciting player for us.

Very disappointed with the officiating but that is to be expected.

Thought Sahin and Assaidi are both looking great. Yesil looks like he has a lot of potential in him but looks very secluded up front at times.

Robinson and Wisdom are both doing well defensively and going forward which is nice to see. Carragher can't handle Lukaku but he's trying. What more can you ask for!?

I'd like to see Henderson and Downing both give more considering they are fighting for a spot in the squad.

I'd have Suso in for Pacheco second half.

The comms on the stream I'm watching have been good. I think it's the guy who sometimes does the MOTD commentary.

Downing really doesnt care whether he's playing or not does he? Going through the motions doesnt cover it.

Very impressed with Assaidi and Sahin has shown why Arsenal wanted him so badly.

We're very good, keeping the ball ticking and Yesil should have scored a second. Downing is by far our worst player really.

Mulumbu should have been off, awful tackle on Henderson.

good play from the team so far, we might need to pick our heads up a bit more, we seem to break down more to lack of that than defenders taking the ball off us.

Also the ref is binging to lose control, That tackle from Mulumbu on Henderson was a joke and Andre got the ball

Encouraging stuff and its good to see this young team fight back after an early horror show. Still, its a worry we did not get a second goal when we were on top and we have let West Brom back into it by the end of the half.

Assaidi and Sahin playing well. Carra is getting outmusceled by Lukaku on occasions, he needs to come off I think. We are'nt controlling the game like we expected though and WBA are having the best of the chances. Need to step our game up in midfield. Suso on for Pacheco and Sterling on for Downing if things continue like this in the final third.

Good performance barring the first ten. It may sound like Deja Vu but this ref is fucking awful. Mulumbu should have seen a straight red for a career ender on Henderson, then Wisdom gets a yellow for getting the ball. Yesil shhould of been given a free-kick on the edge of the box but doesn't throw himself to the floor so gets fuck all, damned if you don't damned if you do.

As has been said Sahin really pulling the strings but Assaidi has also been very impressive. Downing anonymous again.

If you are do you know who the commentator is? Because this is the first time I've ever heard a commentator being completely honest about what is happening on the pitch, no cover-up, he's actually calling out the Ref for the Red that wasn't given, he mentioned Shelvey got sent off for far less.

Sorry for not discussing the match, but I'm quite stunned by his honesty.

Wisdom has played well, looked very composed
Pacheco hasn't managed to impose himself on the game, but is working hard tracking back.
Yesil is going to get one chance and bury it
Sahin is bossing it
Henderson made a stupid mistake at the start but has looked neat and has worked hard
Coates has made a few good challenges, but sometimes looks too keen to win the ball, even trying to go through his man
Robinson started off shaky with a few poor touches, but has settled and looked good.

Exactly. They're pressing brilliantly. West Brom don't have half a second on the ball, even if their third of the pitch. We're constantly winning the ball back. It takes loads of effort I guess, but once we have the ball we're making West Brom chase it. Great stuff.
