I'm guessing Klopp's main objection would be having cameras in the changing room where he speaks to his players. Maybe that's off the table.

That would be one of the main attractions for having the documentary - The behind the scenes relationships between Klopp and his players, how he rouses them into giving extraordinary performances.  If that was off the table, i doubt anyone would pay the big bucks to produce such a documentary.

I would hate to see that. Whatever he says or does, it invariably looks a bit embarrassing to outsiders. Prefer to keep the mystique and behind closed doors stuff should stay behind closed doors IMO.

I'd pay just to watch hours of Klopp and Pep playing Padel. ;D

Did you know that Klopp has his own sponsored Padel racket?

Generally not keen on this, mainly because wall to wall coverage of everything ruins the mystique and romance of the game.

Just adds to the oversaturation of the game. I remember as a kid following the games at the weekend and waiting for the match reports the following Monday in the newspapers, getting home from school and turning to the backpages immediately.

It was always something to look forward to, devouring the limited content you had with patience leading to greater curiosity. Getting everything you want these days loses that curiosity and wonder.

Yep zero interest for me. Really surprised that Jurgen has come round to it. All of these type of programmes are so fake and contrived. Not sure I’d watch even if they go ahead with it

I’m just going to ignore this and hope I never hear of it again.

All of the drama could possibly want following us happens on the pitch, there’s absolutely no need for wall to wall coverage.

Save it for the Harlem Globetrotters who I assume would be bang into this sort of stuff.

Really don't see the outroar. Man City had one, took the piss, won the league with ease, and got good exposure from the documentary, like wise Arsenal had one, and nothing bad really came from it A lot of players came across really well, including Arteta.

Clearly done as an additional revenue stream (because tv deals are declining in value and maximum has been squeezed out of hospitality and matchday without increasing ticket prices), but will have the additional effect of educating a millennial and zoomer base with exposure to FSG and the Club. As far as marketing goes, it’s quite a slam dunk and it seems that Klop approves too …
You're all too fucking serious, the lot of you. Relax, we don't really matter.

I think the only way Klopp would have allowed it is if there's no drama (no 'steady', no dramatic half time team talks) so it'll make for boring viewing.

Football without fans is nothing.

We've won 18 titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, but today must be the greatest victory of all.

Netflix did a TV documentary on F1 called "Drive to Survive" which was a huge success in the USA and brought vast riches to the sport of F1 motor racing.... It was so successful that the leading teams were clamouring to be involved as the series progressed.

If LFC were to make a similarly well-financed and professional product with a top-class production via Netflix or Apple TV which would be a great marketing tool for overseas fans who just can't get enough of their favorite club then it would be worthwhile especially if the increased income resulted in being able to sign a serious replacement for Mo (which won't be cheap) then i'm all for it.

If, however, it turns out to be a cringeworthy documentary like the one Brendan Rodgers and Stevie Gerrard got mixed up in, then no thanks.

I trust FSG to make a sensible decision on this and, of course, nobody is compelled to watch it if they don't want to.

i imagine the Marketing Department will be rubbing their hands at the prospect.....
They laugh at me because I'm different.
I laugh at them because they are all the same.....
