Sounds like Diaz is the one to miss out from the forwards.
a bit of a surprise that, he's been in decent form, guess it will be Elliott in the Salah role and Gakpo dropping into midfield
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

Makes sense because it gives us a genuine attacking option from the bench.

Elliott starts as well. Gakpo & Gravenberch the two main first teamers to miss out

Diaz Jota and Nunez then.

Has Nunez ever started on the right?

Diaz will be right ?

Could even be Jota... I have a vague recollection of him being out there before but could be wrong. He seems the most adaptive of the three anyway.

I love Jones and Elliott has been great but i always get worried when we have a couple of youngsters in midfield. Like last season where we had Bajetic and Elliott in there.

No real alternatives tbf, Gakpo is a fish out of water in midfield and Gravenberch needs much more time. Least we have plenty of legs, so the counter press should be effective.

Jones isn’t a youngster anymore.  Proper first 11 now.

They have Chris Mepham at the back. We should be scoring bucket loads here, he’s appalling.

But he’ll probably turn into prime Nesta for the day now.

And also Jones is our most important midfielder. Weird being nervous about him just because he happens to be scouse and, sort of, young.

Think it's a bit different with Jones as physically he can hold his own as well as anyone. It's when younger players don't quite have the strength and pace to battle well that it can be an issue.

Imagine the excuses some other teams would get off pundits if they had so many injuries. Will be a real tough game this, worried we may be a bit lightweight in midfield.

Hoping we can be clinical with our chences

The team I expected.  Hopefully we get a decent start as we don't have the greatest bench. It's a completely new right side for us. Good game for Harvey is really important.  Gonna be a tough game.
