without wanting to sound too harsh on the lad there was a Chinese lad in 207 last night with the biggest goodie bag ever seen from the shop and to say couldn't sing is the biggest understatement sice someone said Nicky Tanner might be out of his depth at Liverpool... after enduring " we wove u wiverpool" I couldn't hold back the laughter any longer!! entertaining fucker tho!

I haven't been around internet lately so this will sound like ancient history to most of you,but I was surprised(to say the least) with our support in Porto last week. Was it me not seeing good or was the away end half empty(Toulouse as well)!! What happened to the tickets and "the best fans in the world" ?;)

My lad commented how boring it must be just chanting 'Blue Army' all night long............so, so glad we haven't stooped to chanting 'Red Army'...............Pompey do it a lot I noticed........let's save it for the 'small' clubs shall we? ;)

I think they were both 'sell outs' but some people just bought the tickets for the stubs for later rounds, after the Athens fiasco I can half understand (I watched it on the streets in Athens) but still :-\

We were superb tonight, bar the 'who are ya' shite. Couldn't believe how many people were chanting it.

Stewards did their best to get everyone sat down, fella next to me got kicked out but the steward couldn't be arsed to kick me out thankfully.

Will post some vids on a bit.

Just got back as well, was horrified how many were singing 'who are yer' after our goals.

Also had to have a word with the guy in the jester hat, just to ask him what it was all about.

Interesting theory from my mate, he thought it was OOTers on the right and scousers on the left as we faced the pitch.  Are the ticket office keeping us apart :D

Not entirely, but would explain why the right was sitting (where we were) and the left was standing.

Was might pissed off with the 'Who are yer' shite. It was the majority of our end. Thought our support was OK, better in the second half than the first by a mile.
Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

We got too much grief from behind if we stood. Lads behind us were utter c*nts anyway but I still feel guilty blocking the whole match. Only takes the back row to fold (which it did) and everyone else has to follow suit.

Thoroughly enjoyed it tonight, even though we were over half an hour late courtesy of some arsehole who jack-knifed his lorry on the M40.

I think it helped that the game (what I saw of it anyway!) had plenty of incident, ups and downs in the scoreline and so on. The "macro" atmosphere was great, everybody seemed to be joining in with the songs, and the "micro" atmosphere was good too, loads of laughs and banter amongst perfect strangers in our vicinity.

Oh, and our Joey wanted to get right down to the front at half-time to see the pitch up close (leave him alone, he's only 8 ) and ended up charming this lady steward to the the extent that she confided in him that she was a Reds fan.

Had a good night last night apart from the 'who are yer' chanting. Seemed to be mainly down the front but about half our end were at it.  ::) we were 3 rows from the back and stood for majority of the match. One scottish steward came up and politely asked us to sit down until his back was turned. Seemed to get a lot more respect and response by not being a jumped up cock.

Loads of people got there late (second half for some), seemed to be bemoaning parking, traffic, etc. wouldn't have been happy to get back to their cars parked on the verges with a ticket on the windscreen. Nice and cheap at £8  ;) might even give me ticket a try for the league game!
