Jesus wept.

A plastic abomination of a club with crimes against football.

The Pheonix night compére MC when the players get off the coach.
The title celebrating cringeworthy advert.
The "Historic" Nike shirt they have on sale that was revealed a couple of weeks ago.
Pep begging for an atmosphere.
Plastic flags for everyone.

This is evidence of a clear media agenda against plucky little City.

All students of football history know that in 1904 they set a league record attendance of 4,546,7,37,57,3735,743,76484,3,456,365,346,35,6,356,2,643,32,5,2345,2 real human beings. Look it up, it's basic maths.

If you were an old school city supporter you've got to be so embarrassed by that shit. I'm talking about the city faithful (and there has to be loads of them) that supported and followed the club when they went down the leagues.

Yeah want them out of it now! Pep doesn’t do losing well and it will affect them more thang the two extra games. Wouldn’t mind them winning 2-1 meaning they go out. That’ll kill him even more

Just as funny, remember the league cup semi when we played them a few years back, just before the players walked out, the lights dimmed, walking out to Blue Moon, with some light show to go with it, all you could hear was our fans singing YNWA, so BBC cut back to the studio. :lmao :lmao

This is what makes me laugh. There are weirdos out there saying Liverpool need to be stopped from winning the league in order to ''save football''.  :duh

So, just because of their own petty prejudice they would rather see a corrupt, cheating, financially doping franchise win out over a proper club and fantastic footballing side, and that is somehow ''saving football''. :duh

Anyone genuinely wanting to ''save football'' would be rooting for Liverpool to blow these plastic, cheating fraudsters out of the water.

I hope Spurs knock them out tonight.

And I really really dislike Spurs.

It would give Spurs the energy to get a draw in the league game and Poch will know he cannot
rely on a CL win for re-qualify - that would be a mad risk.

I think I am leaning towards this too, but not quite for the same reasons. More in the hope it knocks the stuffing out of City, as I don’t see them dropping another point in the League on current form.

Think if spurs get a result tonight there's no way they get a third result in a row against them at the weekend. Just not strong enough. I'd say if they got knocked out tonight they'd be more up for getting a bit of revenge in the league game.

Yeah i'll take a Spurs win too, but going into extra time. Maybe even pens. I want all their top starters to be knackered as hell. The flipside is Spurs are going to be spent too for the league game and City would cope better with a bigger squad. Hard choices.

I get that thought but there is absolutely no guarantee they would take anything off City if they lost. They will be tired regardless, they could fall off a cliff.

I’d rather see City out, no chance of the quadruple and the squad and fans on a downer and see how they respond to that rather than through another tough tie and bouncing into the semis feeling they are favourites to get to the final.

2-1 win for City tonight, although one of their goals will be a dodgy VAR penalty

Means Spurs go through on away goals

Then Spurs get a result at the weekend, benefitting from a clearly wrong offside decision

We narrowly beat Cardiff with a late goal, despite a couple of poor refereeing decisions that go against us

That's essentially United's argument. Seeing us back on our perch would be horrific, especially with Serkis and Goldbridge's Dad running the show in summer signing their equivalent of Konchesky and Poulsen, but seeing City buy some titles would probably just give them more ammo to take the piss. And I get that.

What I don't get is fans of utter no-marks like Birmingham City and Stoke wanting us to lose because "lol funny stupid scousers #alwaystheiryear", nor the folk who fail to see that City turning England into Scotland means the biggest bursting bubble since the Hindenburg. If people, especially non-European people, switch their tellies to Spain or Germany or Italy and away from England, it'll make ITV Digital's collapse look like losing a fiver down the sofa.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.
