Your periodic reminder that Steve McManaman is a c*nt.  :wave
David Platt has a face like a Michael Myers mask being stretched over a dinosaur egg.
Aquilani is better than Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Messi and Beckenbauer put together.

How did that not go in for Villa? Bit of a scramble then they hit the bar

Watkins passing his LFC audition with flying colours so far.  Missing when it looked easier to score.

The Villa right side is very, very open. That will probably be changed at HT, so best utilize it now please.

Yes, that's all we need....another striker that cant hit a barn door!
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

This is a fucking joke. Villa had more chances than when they beat us. We know what's coming.

Now Everton will dog out their usual shithouse result. Sums up the season. Get battered every week and win, we do the opposite.

They are a set piece side these days. Carlo had them all thinking it was going to be silky attacking football when in reality they are a better quality Burnley.

Seen people talk about signing Watkins a fair bit on here, is that something some are willing to happen or is there a rumour somewhere?

Klopp heaped praise on him recently, so I think people have just got a bit panicky after that.

Quote
Ollie is a really, really talented striker.  He’s physically strong so he can keep the ball, he can jump high, he is very fast – that's a good package.

And of course the transfer bible that is Football Insider has confirmed he's a target.

They're a limited set piece team, but i've rarely seen a team so lucky over a season. Moyes's Everton were a set piece side, but were at least solid defensively and tough to break down. Everton are a shambles at the back but teams seem to fluff chance after chance and then they score a scruffy set piece against the run of play.

Doesn't seem like the kind of transfer we'd do unless Klopp is really convinced by him. At least 50m for someone far from the finished article

While Chelsea are likely to get top 4 and Fulham set to go down, it's not today's game that was likely to change that course.

Chelsea have got a difficult last 4 games (with a CL semi final and FA Cup final thrown in for good measure) and Fulham have got 3 winnable matches from the last 4 to try and give themselves a chance.

Fulham need to win all four and pray. it has been done before.

They're 9 points adrift with Burnley and Newcastle to both play Sheff Utd. I think they're done

Yeah hope we stay away from the likes of Watkins and Bamford who are good players but not top quality that we need to challenge for trophies.

I saw some links to Dusan Vlahovic, that's the kinda player we should target. Already quality with huge potential and will be a bit cheaper than Watkins.

That's what they'll ask for, though in pounds rather than dollars. Starting price too

28-30M would be the max for Watkins imo. I'd block their number if their asking price was 50M.

They paid 30m for him, they're hardly going to want to sell him at a loss after one season

Crazy to think they paid that, great business by Brentford as they bought him for 1,8M only.
