Hauppauge HD PVR 2 - Gaming Edition
« on: November 25, 2012, 05:57:13 pm »
Was just wondering if anyone uses one of these to record their game play?
I've been using one for a couple of days now and have decided I'd like to use one more often.
The only problem is I've been using it with my girlfriends laptop which struggles to run the ShowBiz software that the product comes with. I have a MacBook Pro and was after some advice on any software available that can be used to make my Mac recognise the HD PVR, as the processor on that is much more capable of running video recording/editing software.

I've seen this already on the Hauppauge website but was wondering if there's any free alternatives. This particular software is not compatible with my Mac either as my OS X version is 10.6.8.

Cheers :)

ive got this.

havent used it for a few months mind.

works well for gameing but you have to reduce the input to the ps3 videowise when using it.....its a bit of a pain changing the settings all the time.
