Real Madrid away, now including selling details

''Weíve learnt allocation for the Madrid game in March is to stay at 1800 with only 4 wheelchair bays. This breaches UEFA regulations that state it must be a minimum 5% (in this case 3000-3500). We @LiverpoolDSA + @FansEurope have asked LFC to go back to UEFA + demand an increase''

Unfortunately its as expected. UEFA will simply not give a fuck and nothing will happen.

So 7 guaranteed. 6 in a bin fight depending on what they cream off

Salzburg was 1520. But guarantee that the club will cream of loads for the players and VIP allocation. Only need to take 300 and the Salzburg credit won't guarantee you

This is the key line in all sales notices, this was Ajax

The club has received an allocation of 2,610 tickets for this all-ticket fixture.

In line with UEFA guidelines, a further 243 top-category seats have been allocated TO BE USED AS PART of the players' allocation and staff, travelling club staff and VIPs.

The players/VIP allocation will be in addition to the 1800 not taken out of it. Salzburg will guarantee 100%.

Was the same for Salzburg though. E.g. if they cream 200 per game only 1300 Ďnormalí fans have Salzburg. No reason theyíd cream more for this IMO.

The 243 will be separate to the 1800, so Salzburg will guarantee.

Well there's quite a few in here that will tell you thar the full, 2610 weren't available in the Ajax sale

https://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=352953.msg18547466#msg18547466

Should the same happen again, and why wouldn't it as it's Real Madrid there will be 1420 left so no Salzburg guaranteed

The VIP allocation is separate to the 1800, like the area in the upper kenny that we give out. But the club can then skim off the 1800 for ST Hospitality and box owners etc etc as they do for nearly every away.

If they creamed off 200 for Salzburg - It'll be a darn sight more for Madrid

Not surprising given the total lack of confirmation of allocation and people reticent to book till they know their chances

There's obviously nothing going to get done despite numerous complaints. Madrid a law unto themselves. As the statement says, if they're allowed to get away with it, it sets a dangerous precedent. Will anything change I seriously doubt it

At least thereís noise. Seems like previous visitors just swallowed it. Wonít get change without making a fuss so Iím glad a fuss is being made.

If Madrid are forced to backtrack, it should have a knock on positive effect. Every away allocation will get scrutinised to see if it meets the 5% requirement and weíll start to see increased allocations all over. We rarely get the full 5% and itís just let slide because itís there or there abouts.

I dount it very much as Celtic played them less than 3 months ago and with their equally big away following, I cannot imagine for 1 second that they didn't try everything to get the normal 3K+ allocation...but they got 1700 as well afaik so if they didn't get it, no way in a million years will we.

UEFA are corrupt to the core themselves so no not a hope in hell that they'll do anything about it, especially as its LFC asking.

Even if true - Iím not so sure itís good stuff from us. Itís not their fansí fault. Tit for tat with the fans losing out is a load of shite. As a bargaining tactic alongside other action, sure. But not actually going through with it.

Spot on, high chance I'll miss out on this, but as Andy says we have to take a stand and if this is it then so be it, also means more of our fans get in for the home leg

Which won't happen. So it will be either 1400 or 1800 then.

Itís worth testing.

But if we do get low numbers and their fans get the same, what have we gained?

If Liverpool give them a reduced allocation, we should go after Liverpool. We might get a bit of fan solidarity back. If not this time, another. Better to fight for whatís right and encourage others to follow than to think itís good if other fans also miss out.

European away sides get a massive advantage at Anfield. 3,000 of them taking up half the lower tier of one side of the ground. It's unheard of in most European leagues

Bollocks to them. We should give Real Madrid the same % allocation they will be giving us, and stick them up in the gods of the upper Main Stand, behind blurry/graffiti filled perspex screens and black netting, the same treatment we get abroad

Yeah, thatíll help make things better for us, normalise shit treatment.

Look at the praise the Daneís have had for their treatment of away fans in group stages. Encourage more of that with our own actions. Donít treat opposing fans like shit as punishment.

Thereís a political party you can join if your wish is for others to not have good stuff.

They havenít started selling yet, according to their website. I suspect we have next to no chance of buying tickets via legitimate means. Our best hope is probably buying paper tickets outside, maybe.

So its confirmed that we have reduced the away allocation for the 1st leg as the whole of block 124 is for sale to home supporters, will leave around 1500 for them.

So they've gone down the 2.5% route that Madrid have done

Had to do something but this Sets a dangerous precedent now. UEFA should've stepped in and forced Madrid to comply to the 5% but they didn't

Now it's carte blanche for any other team to do this and makes it impossible to plan any European trip moving forward

there were tickets available on their official website on the day of both the Chelsea and City quarter and semi finals last season. They will go on general sale the week before the game, pretty sure anyone who wants one in the home end will get one.

Bit over the top I'd say, you would believe relationships between clubs are generally respectful on ticketing, Real are dining out on a stadium refurb and taking the piss, but it doesn't stretch much further than that does it

according to 24/7 I will be scrambling round for tickets on the exchange all season #STH #19awayclub
