1    Ryan Giggs   576
2    David James   573
3    Gary Speed   535
4    Sol Campbell   503
5    Frank Lampard   501
6    Emile Heskey   492

From wiki but I assume that this was at the start of this season. Carragher's in 7th.

Villa v United tomorrow........

"Emile Heskey is set to make his 500th Premier League appearance - becoming only the sixth player to reach this milestone"

Well in Emile, had a brilliant first full season with us, a monster. Unfortunately he went fro Godzilla to Godzuki. One of the best battering rams (meant in a nice way) in football, great at what he did.
Was his first season 2000/2001 (FA, UEFA, League Cup)? People often forget how good he was when he started here.

Emily Heskey, the Frank Bruno of football
Goodbye & thank you Rafa. You've given us more than we ever had a right to expect from you and you stayed loyal and fought for us even when some of our own turned on you. I truly hope that you find somewhere with the support that you deserve & win everything in sight.

Without a club, would cost fuck all, can play in all 3 positions up front, would be an excellent influence on the likes of Sterling and Borini, presses high and loves the club.

Get him in on a short contract until January.

Suarez and Borini should not play a single minute of cup and european football until Janurary. We need an extra body in the final third, even if its someone who just harries defenders and is a goal threat at set pieces for European games.

As far as Im conerned, its either Heskey or Owen and Id much rather Heskey as he's more versatile and a lot less of a c*nt. We lose nothing in this apart from a bit of face.

Get him in.

Hes a good lad Heskey, supposed to be a very nice person. He works his arse off for the team and everyone whos played with him loves him. Too much placed on his lack of goals I think even though I was one of them who got on his back about it. Shame he never realised what he could be and how to use what he had more effectivley.

Seen what he could of been against Argentina i think it was for his England debut, was like Johna Lomu running through Argies he terrified them, then against during his 1st season for us he was frightening.

All the best big lad.

Don't think that actually ever happened! You may be thinking of Crouch missing a pen when he was chasing his 1st goal for us.

They caught the perfect game for him with that didn't they? Madrid go a goal down, Zidane sets one up, converts a pen (I think?) and then gets a red card. Brilliant.

Didn't we have a 10 year winless streak at Stamford Bridge that he ended by bossing them and setting up Cheyrou's winner as well?

Think it was more than 10 years that one. Might have been Kenny's winner in 86 was our last league win before that one in 2004.
