Anyone watch Poliakoff's 'Dancing on The Edge' this evening? Part Two tomorrow, worth catching on iPlayer if you missed it.
Recorded it to watch later in the week but watched the first 10 minutes or so anyway.
Looks absolutely superb, but that's par for the course and to be expected with Poliakoff.
Since Dennis Potter is no longer around, he seems to be the only remaining playwrite (other than Ken Loach) who's work I bother looking out for.
(If you haven't yet, it's really worth seeing
Caught on a Train with a mesmerising Peggy Ashcroft performance opposite a very young Michael Kitchen and also the more recent
The Lost Prince by him. Superb stuff.
Glorious 39 was on TV last year and was pretty good too)
