I'll leave it off as I'm going travelling in a few months and won't have the time to keep on top of it.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

I think I'll set the team slot at 16, don't think we have enough people for 20 slots.

I think Bryan says it`s full at the moment, so new league may be necessary:

Missed this, but yeah that's a keeper league where usually get 1-2 openings a year so fire ahead with a redraft from scratch in here lads don't worry!

 http://fantasy.nfl.com/registration/privateleaguejoin?leagueId=6418072

League ID: 6418072
League Password: anfield

- There are 17 spots available
- Playoffs will consist of 6 teams due to us having 18 teams this time around
- Playoffs will start in weeks 14,15,16
- the draft is scheduled for August 26th, 2 PM US Eastern Standard Time [if this is not ok for the majority of you, we can change this to a more suitable time, I have no preferences other than no workdays]

For those who are new to fantasy football

- the draft is done in snake order
- you have 45 seconds per each selection
- you can sort out your drafting list before the draft takes place live, so you don't have to go through out it once it starts
- you will be selecting a quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, a kicker and a defense [an entire team rather than individual players]\
- points can be taken away from of you for negative plays

I am sure you will have other questions, please feel free to PM if you need any help.

Signed up, however Sundays are awkward as i'm often out, Monday 27 August is a bank holiday in the UK, well it is in England, Wales & Northern Ireland, whether that date could be used, or if you decide on Sunday could it be earlier maybe 3-4pm BST which is 10-11am EST?

See what everyone says.

I've never played Fantasy Football before, looking forward to playing this season. Is team schedule one to look out for as well, some teams have a tough schedule, as well as division, like Vikings have road trips to the Pats, Seahawks, & Eagles plus 49ers, Saints & Cards at home.

Perhaps, but when you're selecting individual players, they're bound to perform and get you points, its unlikely that you'll have a player to go through a bad run of countless games where they aren't productive.

Good point, the trick is to look for under the radar players that could well score heavy.

Yes, and there will be plenty that wont be selected, but what you have to keep out for is how they perform, and once you notice that they have a knack of playing well, drop one of your current players and pick up the player who is in form via waivers.

I did that with Kamara last year in one of my leagues. He wasn't selected by anyone, and a couple games in, I picked him up. Proved to be a great decision.

Since we have 18 teams, no side will be stacked with talent on one team, it will be evenly spread out, so it will be interesting

Doubt we’ll get a time to suit everyone. Are we best off just all setting up draft lists and then we can do it whenever?

In theory that's what happens anyway, you create your list and if you can't be there during the draft, the system will pick based on your list [if the players are available]

Thanks for the effort, it`s still going to GamePass.  It`s probably a browser issue.

I`ll try when I get home.

Can’t see anywhere on the site to actually create the list. Probably just missing something but can anyone else?

I CAN see my other league.

Go to MY TEAM/ Your Pre-Season Checklist / Edit Pre-Draft Rankings / and in tiny type there is in blue; "Edit Preferred Positions".

You can also order the actual players by clicking and dragging them to the order you like.
