Honestly, there isn't a team in Europe that we couldn't put at least 3 goals past. People will pretend that it's because Porto are shite, but really, we made them look shite. Their biggest home defeat in the CL says it all. Highest scores in the CL and a defence that's getting stronger and stronger.

Well that went better than expected, probably better than anyone expected. We could have had seven or eight if our shooting boots had been on in the first half.

Dominant in every area of the pitch but I think a special mention has to go to the defence. An away game in the knockout stage of the CL and they barely got a sniff. Van Dijk immense again.

Meh - midfield still weak: Henderson permacrocked, Milner old man, Gini shite away from home, let alone out of the country. Defense frail, goalie still too green. Forwards ok. We got lucky
