Round 17 is another round of midweek fixtures and will be open from Saturday after kick off in the West Ham v Chelsea game




Just a reminder and for info for the new players this season - The Christmas fixtures in Rounds 20, 21 and 22 will all be posted together. You can post all 3 rounds in the same post, or you can post them individually.
If you post all three at once, you CANNOT edit your post, or post rounds 21 and 22 again after the first game in round 20 kicks off.
If you post all 3 together, then edit your post, you will lose your scores for all fixtures up to the time of your edit.
If you post all 3 together, then subsequently post 21 and/or 22 in a seperate post, you will lose all your scores up to the time you post your second post, as I will deem this to be an edit of your original post.

I will post this each week so everyone is clearly aware of the rules for these 3 rounds.

Confuses me as well to be honest! It seems we're ranked in terms of the 'total' but then there's a points section which isnt ranked in order I thought it was the points section that our position was ranked on?

Yeah that's what baffles me but i'm second according to Barney so what he says goes

The Pts column is pretty irrelevant in terms of positioning. It's there more for clarity on how your totals are calculated.

The TOTAL column and F column are what determines positioning.

TOTAL column is the first decider. This is the total of your prediction points along with your head to head points.

If you are level with someone on total points, it is then decided by F, which is your prediction points total each week.

I remember I used to put way too much thought into beating someone in the head to heads. As in I'd be happy with a 2-1 win in the head to heads.

Pretty much. Although the extra 3 points do help. If you get double figures in your prediction, most of the time you'll win your head to head anyway. Unless you're The G in Gerrard who loves a high scoring draw.

Round 16 and 17 will be updated on Friday. Was meant to finish work at 3.30 today and do it before the game tonight, but ended up staying until 6.30. Will definitely be finished at 3.30 on Friday though.
