Always amazes me how crap under the high ball a lot of League players are. And goal kicking!
Err you a union man Nicholas?
Crosby Nick never fails.
Last time I went there I saw masturbating chimpanzees. Whether you think that's worthy of £22 is up to you. All I'll say is I now have an annual pass.
Aye but unlike Union, the players aren't used to kicking the ball every 10 seconds...
God I despise St Helens. Well done, you've won 2 trophies but they play the most dour un-imaginative rugby league I have seen in a long time.Ben Flower is a plank, 2nd punch was a disgrace and that is from a massive Wigan fan.
Pretty happy with Arse taking it.
Anyone see Gary Lineker's tweet on the Flower incident? "If only other team sports could match the on-field behaviour of football." Pleb
I saw that. What an insufferable tit.
You dont know with Lineker
You do know he's taking the piss, right?
Ben Flower clearly lost Wigan any real chance of winning the final, although a valiant effort with 12 men. It's not a tickling contest but punching someone when already out cold is not what the game is all about. When Hohaia wakes up he'll see his winners medal and I'm sure he'll think it was worth it. You don't smash someone in the face in rugby league and get away with it too often.
His tweet after a load of people bit on his fishing lineGary Lineker @GaryLineker · 15h 15 hours agoThanks for the nibbles
St Helens 14 Wigan 6
Wool....
I had no problem with the first punch...it's Rugby League...not football. It's like boxing..,everyone on the pitch is pumped to fuck, you can expect punches to be thrown and Hohia's no angel...but the second is beyond defence...so fuckin stupid.
I can't stand Wigan, they are the Man Utd of Rugby League.
Pretty much my thoughts behind it. Hohia went into the tackle and smashed Flower in the face with his forearm so for me the first punch is fine. The second when he's out cold on the floor isn't though.
They only thing they have in common with Man U is success.League is still a working class community based sport....I don't think they know what prawns are in Wigan. It's a lot like Union in Wales..not England though. I'd rather watch League than football most of the time...it's still the same sport it's always been..even if it is backed by money from"that organisation".
Wool.
Hohaia didn't go 'into the tackle' at all. Flower didn't have the ball at the time. Hohaia smashed Flower in the face with his forearm, 'off the ball'. https://scontent-a-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/10450841_10152417638198457_4957027727604338668_n.jpg?oh=c250c7bb2bedd92c5f8c5d37f18bc02b&oe=54F3F618Hohaia hadn't reckoned on the repercussions that followed, however inexcusable the assault is whilst out cold on the floor.
At least he didn't do an Adrien Morley and take out a Aussie in the first 12 seconds.
That was never an off either.
Wigan's Ben Flower charged with Grade F offence of violent & aggressive punching in rugby league Grand Final - minimum 8-game ban if guilty.
You can't play expansive rugby without a single creative player. What Brown & Saints have achieved without their key playmakers is worthy of some credit?
