echo saying he is still  a doubt

i saw a list of 6 players yesterday that didnt go, dont think he was one (Coutinho, ings, woodburn, ejaria, Alexander-arnold and i cant remember the other one)

echo says today he didnt go

Don't think Grujic went, or was involved on Sunday, is he injured?

Genuine post and hopefully a bit of good news. I work in a Government department in Liverpool's Commercial District, which I cant name  :)
Phil Coutinho called in this morning for something to do with his work permit and joy of joys was not on crutches or limping. When asked "how's the ankle" he answered "great thanks" and gave us a big smile.

Great to see him moving about well enough and looking in fine spirits.  :)

Good to hear, but I think he's been off crutches for a while. He was pictured at that event with Firmino, Lucas and Moreno last week.

Hopefully ahead of schedule. The City game was the target according to some of the journos.

Santa is bringing us a fit Cout for the busy fixtures period in early January then.

It's great to know he's doing well, practically two weeks have passed, we're almost half way through his recovery.

He's not suspended. You need five and after the new year ten yellows for that, plus they reset after the new year.

I couldn't remember where I heard it, then I remember I read it in the Guardian MBM:

"That’s a big blow for Liverpool as Mane will now miss the Merseyside derby a week tomorrow."

Turns out I missed the funny beforehand

"Mane punches Carroll in the chest off the ball. It was only a tap but he’ll be getting a three-match ban for that."

These kind of posts are so unnecessary, if you've actually bothered to notice who posts shite all the time and who doesn't. What if there actually wasn't an article out there and I had completely made it up? What would that make me then?

What if I said he's 'hoping' to be back for City. Feel better now?

No they're not. You gave inaccurate information and people will get their hopes up on that information. Then if Coutinho doesn't make it back for City people start to panic, think he's had a set back, blame the club for whatever when all it was was you saying he'll be back for City when no one has said he'll definitely be back for City. It's just Coutinho saying things are going well, he's aiming for City and hopes he can make it. You've given a definitive statement saying he'll be back, which is wrong. If you don't like being pulled up on it get it right in the first place.

Klopp:

Can a doubt for Wednesday - should be ready for Monday
Lovren was precautionary - should be ready for Wednesday
Grujic - getting close had a tendon injury that is about 3 weeks to heal - but he's already on the way back.

There's a bit on the site about Klopp's plan for him and it doesn't sound like he'll be in the first team squad that soon. Says he's just starting his pre-season now.

I reckon if we've nothing to play for the last few games of the season and he doesn't have any setbacks in the meantime, we might see him get one or two sub appearances.

But other than that, I'd say he'll play most of his games with the reserves with a view to making an impact next season.

F*ck you would really want some patience being a pro footballer coming back from long term injury eh?  ;D

hmm if he gets a few games in for the reserves then maybe end of january start of february? few fa cup games perhaps

you would want some patience, it must be demoralising, highly paid or not, when you spend months or over a year trying to get back in contention then one knock later and its nearly back to square one

Fair enough. You're right. You have every right to pull me up on it. In this case my verbiage slipped, but usually I try and back it up. It was just the manner in which you structured your initial reply. My point was that I don't pretend to pawn off information as my own, if that is what you were wondering. I've been around on RAWK long enough for at least some posters to know that I don't spout shite. It was more just a mere statement of good news in a somewhat downer of a period results wise.

The the suspended ones. And the ones who play for other sides, including their injured players.

What about Gomez though?
