It seems unfair to single out any of the cast for special mentions when the standard of performances is so uniformly strong (must be the director or summat) but Winston and Navid are cracking. The seething bitterness and rays of hope shot down again and again, and the relationship with the faceless wife, are highlights for me.

The thing I love is, it manages to capture real life and as humorous as it is there is always something that happens that you can relate to without it being far fetched.

Felt some of the park stuff was getting a bit strained... until the old guy started banging one out!

Some top laughs in the first 15 minutes, the mini eggs especially, and the water hydrant!

That's the thing with Still Game - just when you think it's getting predictable there's a real belly laugh.
