I cannot wait... have sky set as a series link. I am a total addict.  I will bet that there are crackheads less addicted to their drug of choice as i am to this.

The mania has even spread to some kids i have worked with who think it is the funniest thing ever.  God roll on thursday.

If you have never seen this WATCH IT! you don't know what you are missing.  Pure comedy gold.

It seems unfair to single out any of the cast for special mentions when the standard of performances is so uniformly strong (must be the director or summat) but Winston and Navid are cracking. The seething bitterness and rays of hope shot down again and again, and the relationship with the faceless wife, are highlights for me.

The countdown is on...
If Kenny Dalglish had simply played football for Liverpool he would be an Anfield hero. However, the fact that he managed the club to even greater success guarantees him the status of a legend.

Great start to new series.

Even after all these years the programme still feels fresh.

Without a doubt.

The thing I love is, it manages to capture real life and as humorous as it is there is always something that happens that you can relate to without it being far fetched.

Navid with the mini eggs - classic and that was  one of several good laughs.

Felt some of the park stuff was getting a bit strained... until the old guy started banging one out!

Some top laughs in the first 15 minutes, the mini eggs especially, and the water hydrant!  :lmao

That's the thing with Still Game - just when you think it's getting predictable there's a real belly laugh.

When do you find out the viewing figures?

Also a wee reminder that Thursday's programme is repeated on BBC1 Scotland at 10.20pm on Sunday.
If Kenny Dalglish had simply played football for Liverpool he would be an Anfield hero. However, the fact that he managed the club to even greater success guarantees him the status of a legend.
