Pretty similar sentiments myself all round. One thing that irks me is the timing, not sure why this couldn’t have waited until we said goodbye to Klopp.

Because it gives the new manager time to access the current squad, sort out contacts, openly talk to staff at the club and discuss transfers/recruitment with Edwards etc

With the Euros starting soon it’s important to be ahead of the game.

Wherever he goes in 6 months time, I hope he does ok-ish.

I can’t get excited about it as I have such high respect for Klopp. I think he has done an amazing job and took us from an ok club (good for cup runs) to one of the most respected teams in Europe. It does seem like the end of an era and may take time for the manager to establish himself. I hope he gets proper support from the owners rather than trying to use 2nd rate players. We need to keep the momentum going.

But first we have to give Jurgen a great send off.
The moment Klopp is gone he is gone.  I won’t give it a second thought. Only the future matters then

He will have a lot of learning to do.  As did Klopp.

The power, pace and physicality of the PL will take some adapting to.

Unlike Klopp he won’t take two years to get used to the British weather, the Dutch weather being very similar to our shitty excuse for a climate

Was also singing the softball song.

;D

I'd love it if he did his first presser with his head polished like a bowling ball and a new set of big shiny white teeth.
Can of Kiwi All in one Head and Tit Polish for the sponsorship deal sat next to his bottled water

I want to focus on Klopp’s last games but anyone saying anything bad about this is just bizarre. Once Alonso said he was staying there was no clear choice and I think the club has done about as well as they could do in the circumstances. Slot seems highly thought of and his style of play requires no squad overhaul. Seems a no brainer to me in comparison to any other options.

We might get one anyway. Feyenoord let go/sold 22 players last season and brought in 14 for the current one.  :o

Not sure we can call Jota the slotta any more if I’m honest
