Seen a few forward looking passes, they don't really seem to bother too much trying to stop them.

If its' level it ain't forward.  ;D

Billy fucking Slater, I’d forgotten how much I disliked that prick and I don’t even know why. :D

Edit - sent that before I saw Samie’s post! Obviously the main reason is he’s too good, and Australian, and has a really punchable looking face.

Ominous really. All that defending will take its toll in the end. Just have to hang in there as long as possible.

Basically attack and defence,as per. Last twenty minutes of the game is normally when we cave.

The level of intensity week in in Super League is insufficient to compete with the Aussies.

Thanks to y'all for the updates. :wave

Really? He made one bad call on a play of the ball which have should have penalty in England's own 20.

If England actually got out of their own half with ball they'd be winning this.

Sounds good mate shame England couldn't quite do it

Looking like the Q/F in Darwin will be Australia v Samoa.

NZ & Tonga the top two & Samoa 3rd I reckon

Australia will win comfortably but just be good day out

Ireland 36-12 Italy

France 18-29 Lebanon

Scotland 4-50 Tonga

Good result for Lebanon

Ratings in Aus for the Opener.

Quote
Last night on Australia's Channel 7 the Australia vs England rugby league match got an average 1.4 million viewers nationally (peak 2.59 million), with a capital city rating of 916,000 (Sydney 375k Melbourne 193k Brisbane 279k Adelaide 26k Perth 43k).

By contrast the Australia Wallabies vs NZ All Blacks rugby union match one week ago got only 466,000 in the capital cities

Ouch

Guess a World Cup match is bigger than what was a glorified friendly in Union too?
