Frustrating. Knew these Luton twats would make it a tricky night.

Diaz could have had a hattrick. Not even getting a shot away on that early opportunity was really poor. Too many wild efforts from range, all of which the Luton keeper has taken an age over the goal kick afterwards.

Hopefully they tire, and we improve.

We need one of Nunez, Salah and Jota available for this exact reason. Really abysmal showing up front. Diaz and Gakpo both constantly looking to drop instead of run behind the defender and they lose that extra second needed to outrun the defence.

However, they are getting chances and am optimistic enough that a couple will go in.

We've worked hard and should have scored from one of those opportunities early on. We need more from the crowd as well, they've been disappointing.

That's got to be up there with one of the most frustrating halves of football I've ever watched.

How many times are we going to go through on goal and fail to capitalise?

It's like being really good at fifa but you've got a team full of bronze players. You know your ability is there but it doesn't click when it matters.

I'm sure the lads are going to figure this out in the second half, i'd advise they all change their boots as we haven't got any game changers coming off the bench tonight.

Feels like our energy is directed in so many ways. We look sloppy when we have the chance to create something. Need to up our game in the second half. I kind of expect a change at LB. Not because Gomez has been bad, rather that I think we can benefit from a left-footed option to cover the flank.

We could play for 6 hours and not score. Just can't see any kind of positive outcome here.

Another season ruined by injuries. I do think we need to look at our training/medical approach. There's no way an elite team can be so consistently unlucky.

Gomez such a confusing selection when Robertson's fit, especially against lower league opposition. Get the better attacking full back on.

Diaz and Elliott have had so many good opportunities to put in a pass or maybe score, really good until the final part.
Luton are stopoing us from going wude, most teams let us play up the wings.

I think I invented about 4 new swear words during that half. As others said the decision making in the final third has been way off. And some of the sideways passing at the back has made my head fall off. Harvey really loose in possession and Diaz needs to remember he is capable of a half decent on target shot.

I can't remember a match since that Ath Madrid CL match at Anfield a few years ago where a team has been so thoroughly dominated and yet find themselves in a positive position. They are so wide open and we've had lovely play to get us outside the box and then each and every one of them have somehow managed on at least one occasion to F it up...

They've done nothing except one attack which required one of the most fortunate bounces of the ball you can imagine to take the lead.

Have to believe that if things remain the same, just the number of gold-plated chances created would indicate we'll score a couple. Still have a hard time seeing us not getting three points from this match.

I don't think we've been that bad really. Unfortunately Diaz has been wasteful (he has to take one of those two early opportunities), and their goal was a fluke, although you could argue Kelleher makes a mess of the initial save.

I still hope we can turn this around like we have done most games this season.

Gravenberch is poor. Bad shots and zero awareness. The goal came from him letting his man run off of him.

Gomez needs to come off for Robbo, or we will concede another from that side.

Diaz and Cody have both been quite poor, so slow in deciding what they're going to do.

Just have to keep plowing on and hope will get a little bit of luck.

We’re bare fuckin bones, yes players are making mistakes and the finishing from Diaz has been frustrating to say the least but they’re creating at least and if they keep doing, something will happen

It’s like we’re missing our entire front 3 and half the rest of the side or something.
