Yeah, my twitter is full of celebrations and to be fair if he's not suspended then it's absolutely brilliant for us next season, but I'll hold fire until it's official.

I go back to those stories about how upset he was that he was the one pulled up for random testing after that game and how long he took to give his sample and think "yeah, he was definitely taking something he knew he shouldn't." Hope L'Equipe is right here and that he comes back ready to go in July but I have to admit I still have my doubts this will go away that easily.

Toure was our best player against Sevilla so no, he would have made no difference. If we're relying on a centre back to dictate the game for us we are fucked. It's hardly a Kompany situation where him playing or not playing is the difference between the number of goals we concede and the result we get.

Hopefully the news about him not getting banned is true though. Means we won't have to sign another centre back this summer I'd expect. Also it will mean we'll have some competition for CB next season with Sakho, Lovren and Matip all available. Be interesting to see whether it's Sakho or Matip who start alongside Lovren.

Hopefully Sakho gets a chance to play in the Euros now as well. I'm sure it will mean a lot to the lad to play on home soil.

I doubt there was any conspiracy against Sakho or us, this could have happened to any club at any time of the season. Plus, we don't even know if the reports are true yet.

Let's not pretend that Sakho playing in the final would have made the result much different. The problems lied elsewhere on the pitch.

Happy for him if he's not going to be given any further punishment. Surely this could have been sorted much sooner if UEFA knew what substances were banned.

you can´t look at the things this way, he is our player who would be playing if not this ban..... he might have scored a header though, now we will never know...
