because he is a recent edition to RAWK, as is yourself I see and those of us who are doing our bit regarding the vermin that infest our club, E-mails, letters, Independance day et al are (rightly in my opinion) suspicious of recent members after Christian Slimeball Purslow set his lawyers on RAWK and tried to shut us down.
I am sure if you take a bit of your time to read the threads on "The Liverpool FC Forum" you will see why we are angry, who knows you might even want to lend a hand

Wow!!! I havent been on the forums much recently but this is beyond the pale!! Its like 1982, trying to control the media. We're obviously having an impact. Keep up the good fight. Yanks and snakes OUT!!!

New page so here's the questions again....
Dear Mr. Purslow,
Your appointment as Managing Director of Liverpool Football Club in July 2009, was officially reported at the time as a temporary role until a long-term replacement for Rick Parry as Chief Executive is found. One year on, could you confirm the following:

1. Are Odgers Berndtson still retained by the club in relation to filling the Chief Executive vacancy?

2. If so, how many candidates have been shortlisted and/or interviewed in the last 12 months? And have you been personally involved in that selection process?

3. If not, has another executive search company been appointed or is the vacancy considered 'dormant' or 'on hold' at present?

4. Is it true that if/when this appointment is made, despite remaining at the the club as a board director, you will cease to have any direct operational responsibility?

5. Do you expect to remain at the club in any capacity once the sale of the club eventually goes through? Do you believe your continued presence will be countenanced by the fans or new owners?

In relation to the club's financial state and operational matters:

6. What happened to the significant investment you were tasked with obtaining for the club, and confirmed earlier this year as being "very likely (by) Easter"?

7. How do you account for that failure given Liverpool FC's high profile globally? Does it reflect on yourself, the owners, or the club itself?

8. Are you able to explain why you feel empowered to make football-related decisions when you have previously had zero experience in the industry, and were appointed solely on the basis of your financial background? Outside of normal MD supervisory responsibilities, would you agree your primary remit was investment not asset-stripping?

9. Do you feel it is acceptable behaviour for any senior executive at a football club to privately brief hand-picked journalists to disseminate false information via the media, in order to further their own agenda to remove key employees and spin-doctor the financial realities of the club?

10. Did you earlier this year, personally contact either Jorge Valdano, Miguel Pardeza or any other Real Madrid executive to discuss the potential availability for transfer of Rafael Van Der Vaart, without prior discussion or indeed even the knowledge of the then-manager Rafa Benitez? If so, with what purpose given it is the manager's chief responsibility to identify who to buy or sell, subject to board financial approval.

11. Why did you decide to terminate the employment of Rafa Benitez by paying out £6m in lieu of the remainder of the length of his contract, when he was already having discussions with Internazionale who according to their owner Massimo Moratti, were prepared to pay an equivalent sum in compensation to Liverpool FC for Benitez's services? Moratti had, after all, just similarly received €8m from Real Madrid as compensation for the loss of Jose Mourinho.

12. Why, having effectively placed a combined £12m in contractual fees as a debit on the club's balance sheet, did you and the board then decide it prudent to appoint Roy Hodgson as the new manager, thus requiring the club to further pay in excess of £2m in compensation to Fulham FC? Nonwithstanding Hodgson was clearly not the choice of a key member of the selection committee, and there were other far more suitable candidates available for the role who were either internal or out of contract and thus required no such payment to be made.

13. You recently stated in relation to player transfers that "no-one leaves until a new manager is appointed". So given Hodgson's imminent appointment, who can we look forward to the club selling now?

"Everyone deserves a chance to address behaviour that is deemed inadvisable. Just switching MrBaker off without due cause is tantamount to censorship and plays into the hands of our fiercest critics. MrBaker also deserves the same level of protection from abuse or bullying as any other user and if he feels unjustly attacked he can call on that. However, being deliberately antagonistic, especially when one is new to the site, just creates a stronger reading on the radar. Some get that, others don't, so the jury's still out. For now. MrBaker should get a feel for the current mood, now more than ever given the events - he may just be lacking in the ability to integrate, we'll see".

Got another reply from Rachel Pallant:

Dear Mark,

Thank you for your further correspondence.

Mr Scudamore has seen your email, and is well aware of the concerns Liverpool fans have about both the ownership and chairmanship of the Club. As we explained in our letter to you, we understand that fans wish to ask questions of their Clubs, but we do not have the authority to act outside of our Rulebook and have no power to investigate a Club employee outside of these Rules.  Many employees and Chairmen (for example Steve Morgan at Wolves, and David Gold during his time at Birmingham City) openly support other Clubs and we have no Rule to say that they cannot do this. Many employees and Chairman regularly mix socially. Whilst we understand your concerns, we are not aware of any Rule breach having taken place, and as such we have no investigation to conduct.

We will ensure that your questions are forwarded onto the Club directly.

Kind regards,

Rachel Pallant

Supporter Relations Executive

So I have sent this back in response:

Dear Rachel,

Thank-you for once again forwarding my comments to Mr. Scudamore and for your swift response. I hope that these questions being forwarded from the Premier League directly will result in fans getting some answers.

I think that the main difference between the chairmanship of other clubs and that of Liverpool as it stands is that the chairmen of other clubs that you mention are permanent (or at least long term) appointments. Therefore it is in their interests to protect the long-term interests of the clubs they run. As far as I'm aware, Mr. Gold and Mr. Morgan are/were major shareholders and again this means that they would run those clubs in the club's best interests regardless of any personal affiliation.

Mr. Broughton is an interim appointment with no investment in the long-term future of Liverpool Football Club. Our owners were described in the commons recently (and correctly) as asset-strippers. The sale of players Mr. Broughton is overseeing is in Chelsea's interests and the owners' interests but could absolutely decimate the football club. The point I am trying to make, yet again, is that if this isn't against your current rulebook then it absolutely needs to change. Fernando Torres is again being heavily linked with Chelsea, with reports that Roman Abramovich flew out to South Africa to try and convince the player to join Chelsea.

There have even been (unreliable) reports linking Javier Mascherano with Chelsea. What you are saying seems to suggest that our whole first-team squad could be sold to Chelsea below market value and no conflict of interest would have occured - surely you must recognise that there comes a point where this becomes an unhealthy pattern.

Even if this cannot be changed in time to save our club from the vultures currently determined to rip it apart for their own ends (and make no mistake, that is what is happening, regardless of the power the Premier League has to stop it) then it needs to be looked at again to stop this happening to other clubs. Interim appointments like those of Mr.Broughton and Mr.Purslow offer a new challenge to the Premier League in this modern money-dominated era and the Premier League must adjust its role accordingly.

Thank-you again for keeping this dialogue open, I'm aware that it must be frustrating to repeat that you are powerless to stop this situation but I guarantee you it is nothing compared to the powerlessness felt by Liverpool fans as things stand. The club we love is falling apart before our eyes.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Ballard

Oh and SOS are intending to quiz Purslow at a do for Standard Chartered. I've forwarded the questions to them.

Exaclty. He can also read this:

You thought you were living the dream by being chief exec and running a football club. You thought you could be a big-shot by shitting on the club and the fans. You deserve the reaction you're getting and it will continue until you and your leverage-buyout buddies ARE OUT OF THE CLUB.

On top of swerving the Standard Chartered thing today. He's had a mural in Mellwood, of Rafa and the Lads winning the European Cup, taken down. I don't know what the official excuse was for either. And, knowing his track record, there's no point in quizzing him anyway.

But if you want to know why The Standard Chartered thing never went ahead and wee Cecil didn't have to face SOS, here you go...

Apparently, Baxter's even answered a couple of lads on this one. So if you fancy a word in his shell like about wee Cecil or anything else....

Top letter, chap! Keeps the momentum going and someone, somewhere will crack. Hopefully, the Premier League can be on our side sooner rather than later.
Gillett and Hicks (and Hodgson) - were not welcome here, there or anywhere  associated with Liverpool Football Club...

FSG, Kenny and Clarke are bringing the good times back - patience...
