The fact that the Chiefs outgained the Eagles with those offensive weapons is pretty remarkable. They're basically brilliant literally everywhere with the exception of their tightend and wide receivers. Can Mahomes eke out enough from his offensive weapons to get the team over the line anyway? Gonna be interesting.
They have the best tight end in the league, and top 3 in history, in Kelce - not sure why you think their tight end is not "brilliant". It's what I don't understand about the comments about "oh, Purdy is just a system QB, it is all shanahan, he has nothing but the best players". So has Mahomes and Hurts!
If you break it down:
Defence: Chiefs > 49ers > Eagles (marginally - and you could reverse these in any order)
O Line: Eagles > Chiefs >>> 49ers (easily the worse "unit" of any of this breakdown is the 49ers O-Line - ranked 22nd of 32 in the league, and that includes the best LT in the league - take him out and it would be bottom 3; Eagles are best in the league, Chiefs 2nd)
RB/FBs: 49ers > Eagles > Chiefs (CMC is not that much better on the ground than Pacheco/Swift, but is the best catcher of any RB)
WRs: Eagles > 49ers >> Chiefs (mostly on drops - Chiefs get open more often, but just can't catch)
TEs: Chiefs > 49ers >> Eagles (Kelce is top 3 of all time, Kittel clearly the 2nd best in the league; Goedert is probably a top 10-15 TE, but their back ups are garbage)
The main reason that the WRs can't catch is the amount of money they paid Mahomes left them with much less cap room - which left them with less money when they had to extend Tyreek's contract (the best WR in the league, at least IMO) which ended up with him leaving.
