Brighton (A) - League Cup - 30th October 2024
« on: September 26, 2024, 09:10:25 am »
Managed to sort Brighton although it obviously won’t be on my own membership.

Anyone know the score with parking, I can see they have a park and ride but only 450 and 700 spaces in the two park and rides - does that normally get full? They’ve got parking by the ground as well for £15.00 again not sure how far in advance that needs sorting?

Thanks.

Hi I parked by the racecourse when we lost in the Cup, there were loads of spaces but can imagine it would be full about an hour before KO. Bus took about 20 mins to get to the ground.

Easy route in but big queues to get on the platform going back
according to 24/7 I will be scrambling round for tickets on the exchange all season #STH #19awayclub

Agreed!

I'd speculate that the allocation will be approx 3.2k and the criteria be as follows:

Fulham (24.01.2024)
Bournemouth (01.11.2023)
Manchester City (22.12.2022)

1st sale - Guaranteed 2 out of 3 fixtures
2nd sale - Not Guaranteed 1 out of 3 fixtures

If tickets remain (they won't) they may do include a 3rd sale being 0, or might 1+ but use MK Dons (25.09.2019) - they did this with the City game using Leicester City but it never reached the 3rd sale (see below) - not sure why? Maybe just to stop city away going to general sale 🤷🏻

Only way I can see it dropping lower than that is if Brighton give us more tickets than the 3.2k - not impossible given their attendances for LC matches this season have been South of 20k, although we’ll obviously be a bigger draw.

When are we likely to hear details about this? Any whispers on allocation etc?

By the end of this week I'd imagine. This is what I reckon re selling details -
I reckon it will be based on

Fulham
B’muff
City

2/3 guaranteed
1/3 2nd sale

It will be 3.2k as a minimum.

I wouldn’t totally rule it being more than that as, for example, Fulham were doing in the earlier rounds last season on the basis that Brighton have played 2 home games in this competition so far and sold less than 20k in each of them (including away fans who I think both took around 3k).

Obviously demand will be higher for us so maybe not but wouldn’t totally rule it out.

Brighton confirm that our allocation is "slightly bigger than league games"

https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/pages/en/media-article/mft-fixture-news-bhaliv-carabao-cup-fourth%20round-september-2024

£25

Sounds like the standard 10% then.

Be interesting to see if they sell out their end for this one given their previous attendances in this competition.

How many tickets would the standard 10% be?
