Put it away Yosser you pest. :D

I used to go on holiday to Scotland in my teens. Similar stores there (whilst trying to avoid getting a beating off the locals).

We did got to Anglesey a bit when I was very young, Treaddur Bay as well. Main memories of it are the very occasional day on the beach when it was sunny, but mainly spending rainy days at Holyhead Leisure Centre or at the cinema (watched Indian Jones and The Temple of Doom there, that’s how long ago it was).

Everton playing that day then?

Get yourselves over to the North East side of Anglesey if you want some beautiful peaceful beaches and clear waters.

Cemaes round to Lligwy has some fabulous hidden coves for swimming, paddle boarding, bird watching, walking, snorkeling etc 👍

Well it might not remain peaceful for long if a load of scousers read this post and start teaming in en masse.

Yeah Rhosneigr deffo going the way of Abersoch. Wilmslow-on-sea. That north-east bit of Anglesey has some lovely beaches as Debs says. Also like the north coast of the Llŷn past Morfa Nefyn down to the end. Some stunning beaches on that stretch. Errr, I mean, don’t ever go, it’s shite! ;)

The good thing about these beaches is they're not easy to get to.  You certainly can't drive to them, they're only accessable at low tide and they're a good 30 minute walk over rough terrain.

Keeps all the riff raff out 😁

Haha I’m off to Rhosneigr in a month! Not from Cheshire mind.

Love Anglesey and have many fond memories of my grand granddads caravan which was near Colwyn bay.

Out of interest why are so many posters on here so against Wales?

You see it on any thread with regards to Wales or the Welsh.

Not seen anything like it to be honest

You’ll have great time. Nice walk south along the beach / coast path to Porth Trecastell, cracking little beach. Also, like Barmouth, it has a good chippy in town. You can take them in a couple of minutes walk down to the beach down the road opposite to scoff them there and watch the sunset. Just don’t get run over by a Range Rover! (It’s not that bad really ;))

I think this comment is unnecessary! The one eyed trouser snake is well under control thank you.

Yet again, another thread sees the standards descend with Crosby Nick at the centre.

lots of good memories reading this topic -  we had a caravan in a farmer's field up in the hills above Glan Conwy - I spent lots of weekends in the late 60s early 70s in Conwy messing about on the water - cant beat the sound and smell of a 2-stroke British Seagull outboard - happy days

We had a fantastic time, such a brilliant and beautiful place, such a slower pace of life. The 80mph winds day one was a bit fun, 5 + 1 year old meant we kept it very low key and easy going.

We stayed in a cottage as close to valley as you could be with the dunes and beach a 1 minute walk, bar a few days out we spent all our time on the little beach which was a bit further round than the main one near the little river, which worked rather well as our idiot cocker spaniel usually drinks sea water!

Steak and Malbec from Mojo was top top notch.

Sunset was glorious and we saw a red arrow on the last day!

Born and bred Anglesey lad so good to hear the praise the place is getting on here, you kind of forget what you have sometimes living here so nice to be reminded how lucky we are.
