19 year old scores on 19 minutes wearing 19

And he's a Liverpool player. If it had happened on the 19th in 2019 the world would have exploded or something. As it is...

Love that. They watch Liverpool and Man City play out from the back and assume it's a piece of piss and the way forward. Perfect example that shows what we do is so difficult, yet we make it look so easy.
I think the same, can't stand him, but if you could have a £1million pound cheque or steve bruces head hollowed out and filled with pound coins which would you have?

Thought Rhian Brewster was superb today.
Some lovely touches, an absolute pest whenever defenders had the ball (picture Vardy), & I really like his movement - clever little run and terrific left-footed shot for his goal.
Imagine thatíll be the first of a shedload in his career

Watched the match highlights this morning.  He's going to score a bagful this season with Conor Gallagher feeding him from midfield.

Steve Cooper's been clever bringing them both in as they've all come through the ranks together with England but also Conor and Rhian grew up together at Chelsea's Academy.

Make the most if it lad, this is your opportunity to shine at senior level.

I wonder what the plan is for Rhian next season. Maybe a loan at Swansea until January and then bring him back to cover Mane and Salah at AFCON.

Well done to the lad.
Only 19 but shows a lot of promise.

Was just looking at his wikipedia page. Didn't know this:
"Brewster is an England youth international and has represented the nation at various youth levels but remains eligible to play for Turkey and Cyprus as his mother is Turkish Cypriot"

I can't see him wanting to play for anyone other than England to be honest.
Dalglish - Barnes - Beardsley - McManaman - Fowler - Owen - Gerrard - Torres - Suarez - Salah - Mane - Firmino

His goal from the weekend. Nice move!

The highlights from the previous game where he scored were more encouraging. Someone had posted highlights of an Ejaria game where he played with a lot of trickery, and I'd said that he looked an awful team player with all the unnecessary touches. Brewster was the opposite, taking touches where he needed to, but moving the ball as soon as he could. He didn't link as well with the Swansea players of course, not having trained so much with them, but he looked encouraging for a young forward in his first senior stint.

His celebration looks a bit silly now considering it wasnít the winner and he scored in front of about 6 fans.. but it was a well taken goal, I hope he continues to bag a few for the remainder of the season.

Huh? It was 3-3 at the time? Since when did celebrations look silly in retrospect? Should players not celebrate in case their goal doesn't matter?

That's a pretty spectacular celebration. Suitable for a last minute winner in a major final.

Good on the lad, anyway. Development taking place before our eyes

Thatís exactly my point it only looks silly now because of retrospect. Iím not saying he shouldnít have celebrated, just saying that now, it looks silly.
