Trained normally with the team today  ;D

Quote
Roberto Firmino today trained alongside his teammates following a muscle strain that ruled him out of Liverpool’s last three matches.

The Brazilian took part in the Reds’ first session of their Marbella training camp on Tuesday morning as he works his way back to full fitness.

Firmino has been working with the club’s medical staff on his rehabilitation from the issue and his reintroduction into full team training will be carefully managed under their supervision, with specialised programmes planned over the coming days.

All that work and didn't even mention the Si/Sim-debate.
The song is boss as it is currently sung. Although I'm distinctively in the Sim-camp after Alisson corrected Jamie Webster  ;D

Did he... ?

Great news seeing him back in full training.

Nice that we have a injury free squad for this final.

Keita might not be able to play a part but it's still good to see him being part of the group.

Is he back in full training. He was part of that session yesterday, but thought Klopp said he would be working with the fitness team on his own programme out there too?

Looks like it’s going in the right direction and hopefully points to him being available anyway

He was working on his programme ahead of the team's arrivals several days before the whole team arrived. Whether or not he's in full training remains to be seen but my guess he is.

1- Great to see him training with the rest of the squad. Really hope he's fit for the Final, it'd give us that boost we need.

2- I'm sure most of you know that Bobby's song is based on a specific chant by the River Plate supporters. Some of you, however, might not know that chant was based on a song by a very prolific and famous Argentine singer, Fito Páez. The song's name is "Y Dale Alegría a Mi Corazón" (lit. "and give joy to my heart") and was a hit back in the early 90s around these parts - funnily enough, it's not really a fast song at all. If anything, it takes a loooot of time to really "get going". Check it out here.

He's gotta be fit for the final if he's training with the squad a week before the game, surely.

I love how people who write about the sport are so utterly clueless about Bobby

From an Express story about Werner

Quote
Liverpool could be looking for another forward this summer after Roberto Firmino failed to hit the heights of last year.

The Brazil ace, 27, only managed 12 goals and six assists in 34 games. And although those figures are hardly poor, when compared with his team-mates - Mohamed Salah (22 goals, eight assists) and Sadio Mane (22 goals, one assist) - he would appear to be the weaker link.

Haha how many teams in the world would’nt have him?

You don't have the balls liiiike the River Plate.

There's boss footage of it on youtube for the Copa final. It's so passionate.

I think I've said it on here that a few young lids tried getting this going in Belgrade . After the game a few of us were saying to eachother... who knows that Bobby song ? We didn't but we all agreed it needs to take off that one.

Not really quiet, Klopp answered questions and gave an update. He's been in training for weeks now, he's looked good, took part in team training aside from what he's done individually. But don't expect to get a day to day update.

Absolutely love this man. So glad he's won the biggest trophy in the game for us. Has been consistently excellent since joining, and we have been reliant on him to create the fluidity in attack with his brilliant interplay and vision for the first few years that he was with us. Klopp called him the engine of our counter-attacking system.

With all that said, this last year, he hasn't quite been his old self. Not quite as sharp, not quite as consistently clever and solid with holding up the ball. I really hope it's just a natural dip in form, and that he isn't starting to wane. I hope he comes back even stronger next year.
