Not just that, only 2 behind Arsenal. If we had put away our chances, we'd be even with them ahead on goal difference. Yet people moan about the first few games like it'll be this way for the rest of the season. People claiming our fanbase being knowledgeable amongst others need to just visit RAWK to see if anything it might be the opposite.

To be fair he said it was relegation form, no idea if it is but its probably not far off relegation form.

It's 50 points form.(1.33 ppg)
And the scary part is that we have a very tough schedule ahead of us.

People saying Rodgers out need to have a look around and see what top managers will move to us or are available. We may have to wait till the end of the season before we see a change, I  can't see Klopp or Ancelotti coming near us.

Klopp will. In Germany, Liverpool has a reputation to be "Dortmund of England" and highly respected.

Either watch the games or look up his tackling and interception stats, I'm not going to try convince anyone he's a good player. It's there for everyone to see but because he's not scoring or assisting people think he's been a bad signing it's actually laughable.
People thinks he's not a good player because he cant pass a ball consistently makes the wrong decision on the ball and has the first touch of Andy Carroll.

He's the manager. We are playing like shite and have been for some time now.

Four wins in our last fifteen league games - Newcastle, QPR and Bournemouth at home and Stoke away.

The manager is responsible for getting the best out of his players, and selecting the best team for each game. He hasn't. The onus is quite rightly on him.

And none of that has anything to do with us today.

Best we've played all season, Arsenal aside. And we let ourselves down with shite in the final third.

What more could Rodger's have done today? Absolutely nothing.

I was all for saying goodbye to the man when we lost to Stoke but the comments here are ridiculous.

It's over isn't?

I've accepted his time is up.
There seems to be a lot of acceptance here that his days are numbered.
Sad in a way.

Can't wait for the media circus when FSG pull the plug and send us back into the abyss.

In fairness though, we could've won that game by some better finishing/decision-making. Why are we playing 3-at-the-back and a DM at home against a newly promoted team? lol

And it was you, among many on here who thought going for Lallana instead of Fabregas is shrewd piece of business, because you know, Lallana would fit in like a glove.
Fabregas wouldn't even be a success for us. He isn't even great at Chelsea with 2 DM's playing next to him. He would be shite with Milner and Can beside him.

Rodgers' league record in 2015 so far;
Played 24 Won 11 Drawn 5 Lost 7

We have won 38 points from a possible 72

Last 10 league games look like;
Won 3 Drawn 2 Lost 5

11 points from 30

The numbers speak for themselves and no other top European club would accept such abysmal results!!

Klopp, Ancelotti, Simione nothing less than one of those three. Massive change needed.

Simeone wouldn't leave a club who are of a similar standing to Atletico but just in a different league. Nothing to gain from leaving Atletico to ourselves.

Certainly can hire the other two, as long as FSG don't sell a bad pitch to put them off.

1-1. We should have won. Good to see Ings get a goal. Good to see Sturridge back. Can only hope Benteke is OK. Liked how we played, generally. It was better than what we have seen recently. But... we should have won. This was a must win game and we drew. -4 points to schedule after 6 games.

Brought in better players? Maybe formed a better side that is capable of scoring more than 1 goal a game at the absolute max?

Guess that would be eutopia and we should be content with drawing against Norwich at home because we played halfway decent.

But the thing is we should be in a better position. A team mirrors the manager. At the minute the players look unsure, nervous and worried about everything. Snapping at chances etc. the pressure is getting to Rodgers and its transferring to the players. I don't think he can get it right. The players are there to be further up the table but I just can't see him pulling it out of them.

I thought we looked better, today, a game we should have won.  But....

That last substitution was bizarre and indicative of how Brendan's tinkering disrupts the team balance. He takes off Lucas, moves Can into Lucas' position as DM, drops Clyne to Cans spot in the back three, moves Milner over to Clynes spot as right wing back and on comes Firmini where Milner was playing. The whole team is turned upside down. Instead the obvious substitution, Firminho for Milner (who was struggling) is overlooked. Is it the same story, with undroppable favourites?

BTW I was itching for Ings to get on and he looked lively. It took an unexpected injury to see the most balanced team for the first 15 or so minutes of the second half. Ings & Sturridge look good together.
Victorious and glorious....

I love when people try to brush it off as just RAWK. People I see at the match, on social media, every day in real life, even opposition fans all seem to agree Rodgers should go and isn't good enough. Yet people still try to dismiss it as RAWK being knee jerk

Today's result is entirely on the players imo. Mignolet for costing us the goal, and the attackers for constantly losing their heads and fucking up the final parts of our attacks.

Blaming Rodgers for those players being in the team and trajectory is fair enough, of course.

Need Milner replaced asap, a good spell in CM 5 years ago does not a CM make.
And where did those players come from?  Who brought them here?  Where does the £ stop.?

I see quite a few going on about having a back three against a recently promoted side, but that had absolutely nothing to do with the result, nor does it automatically make the team defensive. Where were the complaints when we were on our best form in a back 3 last season?

A back 3 allows you to press high and win things up the field. Sakho was winning stuff almost near their final third because he was able to push up and condense the play. A back 3 allows you to do that. It also allows Moreno to be higher up the field, just like when he got the ball after Lucas's press and played the ball in for Ings.

Look at the difference when we went to the back 2, when Clyne and Moreno were more contained in going forward. The back 3 is absolutely fine.

We have bigger problems to deal with.

Hear hear. FOURTH season and NONE of this is down to the manager. You plebs are so fucking ungrateful: We got a point again a newly promoted side by playing a fuckton of defensive players...at home. I swear none of you even understand footie the way we do.

1st season: Rodgers improved the side greatly and we wanted him to stay.
2nd season: title challenge
3rd season: regression

So he's only had 1 full season where he's not achieved expectations. We're currently 6 games into a 38 season and you've already written it off. Get some perspective.
