It's probably been answered before, but how the fuck do the ravens know where to go? And do none of them ever get intercepted? If Sam and Jon ever meet up again, what if Jon didn't get the raven.

"I definitely sent it"
"Well I didn't get it"
"Well that's not my fault is it. You may ring the head office of the ravens and find out where it is, because it was OK when it left me"

We did see ravens getting shot down in the first season. It was Robb/Theon etc outside the Twins if I remember correctly

Given how quickly they get to places I'm going to say they teleport.

There has been a siege where all the ravens were being shot. Also I may be remembering this wrong, but when Arya was being taken north to to Castle Black from Kings Landing, I think they were taking ravens with them. So in Westeros, perhaps Ravens can "home" like pigeons, and get sent by road and boat out from their various homes to the places messages would need to be sent from.

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Certainly been a big drop off in the quality of the dialogue since the show has run put of book material. It's noticeable.

In that world? The fantasy world created by GRR Martin? Always makes me chuckle when people say that.

I think women who are in positions of power being interested in power is pretty historically and reality accurate though, and nearly all of the women in the show do try to be clever and make moves. There's only Brienne, Sand Snakes and Arya that are really fighters. Brienne is great and intended to be a really exceptional character (in terms of being physically tough), Sand Snakes written badly think everyone can agree on that, Arya fantastical (as well as a child sent a bit nuts by the bloody world she's in).

If you want women with power to be bloodshy then that is probably the unrealistic thing to expect in terms of medieval vibes. That was just the way of the world, Elizabeth I chopped off many heads with no hesitation I imagine.

Good episode. I've got nothing to say that hasn't been said already. I think I'm better at suspending disbelief than many on here, curiously, whilst remembering that it's just a show. The greatest show, at that.

I believe the average spend will go up £5 ahead and that’s being very conservative. So that’s £185k. Then you have a new 25k who will spend £10 a head that’s £250k. This is without the massively enhanced hospitality areas.

Yes it's nowhere near as good as it used to be when following books, but it's still the best/most entertaining show on TV.
