Brother is training to become a spark. He mentioned that when qualified he'll need some sort of tool which costs a few hundred quid. Any idea what that might be?

A continuity tester maybe or a multifunction tester that go for between £300 - £1000+

Pretty sure they take your foto at the desk where you apply & you can go straight in.
Just need to have the right street cred!

I'd assume you have to go instore to collect the physical card, as it has your photo on it. When you join, they take your photo at the Membership counter and make your card there and then. You need the card for things like access to the store as they scan on entry and getting fuel as you have to scan your card at the pump.

It only takes about 5 or 10 minutes and they issue the card straight away. Do they do fuel at the one by yours, its well worth it if they do, as its usually cheaper than Supermarkets but its the better quality stuff, more akin to the stuff at BP/Shell etc. I run mine and the wifes car on the fuel and I can deffo feel a difference in the diesel compared to Asda.

You can have an individual account if you don't own a business. Not sure if it's limited to certain professions still but was quite wide last time I looked.

I had the same idea too..they had reps from Costco who arrived in me lads workplace & thats how he got his..he's just an employee where he is, he said they were dishing them out like confetti.

For individual membership you do need to be one of some specified professions, I got mine originally through her brother as he had a limited company when he was a contractor, but then via work, they did some deal with Costco so employees could get membership.

Nope, no evidence at all mate. Went in, paid the yearly fee and got my photo put on a card, good to go.

Prove I worked for the employer as it was a work scheme.  My old card had expired as the Brother in law thought the one sin his old company name weren't getting used, so cancelled the lot - about 4 cards in total - so i went a year without a card.

My beer of choice in my local. Works out at about £2.10 a pint which is pretty good (I pay £4.65 at the pub).

Do you have to chill the kegs or does this chill them?

The unit chills them, think they are ready in about 2 hours from room temperature, it does have a temp gauge on it too.
You can pre chill kegs in the fridge too.

A member of my household is self isolating, because they were in a room where there was positive case at work. They were in there for 45 minutes.

No, you carry on as normal.

My 10yr old had to isolate for 2 weeks due to the T/A for his class getting covid, we could come and go as we pleased, we were supposed to minimise contact with him though. Really? At the same time my brother in law was isolating as the T&T App said he was within 2m in a bar of a confirmed positive case, his wife was allowed to come and go as she pleased.

You're only worry is if they develop it, but unless they were really close to the person, you should be ok. Of the 75 kids who were sent home, not one kid had to go for a test, some were tested due to the parents jobs (lecturer, teaching assistant, NHS workers) but not one returned a positive test.

A kid in my eldests yr group, but in a different form, has been confirmed as having tested positive yesterday and only a few kids have had to be sent home.

Takes a little bit of practice pouring a pint but if it's something your budget can stretch to I'd defo recommend getting one of those Blade beer/keg machines. 🍻

Can anyone recommend a type or brand of CBD oil please?
Ive seen it mentioned in the anxiety and depression threads a few times but there seems to be a lot of brands. Was going to buy one, then one of the reviews said this is hemp oil not cannabis oil. Which threw me a bit.

I thought id give it a go, just to try to get a decent sleep for the first time in years.
