Great celebration by the lads at the end. And what a penalty to win the cup. Top bins!

Did the Liverpool players desecrate the grave of the commentator’s mother before the match?

He seems to have a ‘touch’ of bias against is....

He's been embarrassing so glad we did it. I think BT will be in mourning for a while.

Taking them long enough to present the cup. It's not like it's come as a surprise or anything.

Brilliant from the Young Reds.

Nice to get one over that plastic abomination of a so called football club.

Hopefully it's a good omen for the title run in.

Just watched the extra time. Well done the youngsters.
Random Observations
We were by far the fitter team at the end. City were gassed after the first 15 of extra time. Shades of Spurs in 81. Our lads stayed on their feet.
City were mentally shot. At the last penalty their players were on their knees crying even before it was taken.
The comms team sounded like an Etihad advert. The “great modern tradition” of Manchester City??.

The standard of penalty taking was very high, especially our youngsters.

City brought a brass band a la Engurland.

The post match is like a wake where the Comms team are the mourners. “Isn’t it sad...”

Well done again the tricky young reds

Everything about that match was to celebrate Man city. Sticking in what they call a training pitch most would class as a solid League 2 stadium.

BT cameras set up like a top premier League game

Pep in the stands watching on.

Brass band in the crowd

And then the reds come along and spoil it for them

Always a great moment for them. My 1st ever match at Anfield was the 95/96 final with Carra and Owen in the team

Ridiculous that the final wasn't played on a neutral ground really. It was fine doing home and away when it was played over 2 legs but in a one-off game it seems grossly unfair, much like everything else to do with that club.

Glad we spoiled their little party tonight anyway.

Funny how in the second clip it wasn't "Liverpool have beaten man city" it was "City have lost to liverpool". Strange commentary.
if I came home to allison in bed with my wife I'd ask him to phone Virgil to see if he wanted to pop round too.
