Handbrake - https://handbrake.fr/

Will re-encode any files to MKV format (most compatible i find) and you can "burn in" the subtitles so they are always on. (You can select the subtitle file etc)

put the mkv and sub file in the same folder and make sure they are named exactly the same.

its not a torrent site. Has lots of books. Use a vpn. Its tricky cuz of various d/l clients so read instructions carefully! Its is a bit of a bollox to use but you get used to it:)

I have tried that one, most are just not available or are Audio which is not what I want. Maybe it just needs a bit more time before they come on there

Best way is download Sidfy and then you can download songs from Spotify free of charge. Or get a YouTube download program and download songs from Youtube. Its what I do

I use Iptorrents which is really good and can send you an invite if you want?

I've been using PIA for my VPN. It seems to throttle my speeds when downloading though.

Loads of torrent sites still out there. You may need a VPN to even reach them but a VPN is a must/standard these days:
