Didn't realise Suarez is now 32? I suppose it makes sense, you know him getting older and all that. ;)

Is he still as good? Haven't watching him play for ages.

He was an amazing player for us, imagine he's been the perfect foil for Messi. Hope we get through tomorrow unscathed, could be a classic this one.

saw a stat on twitter the other day, that said if we reach the final it'll be our fourth in the last 14 years and no club has been in more.

Says something about our love affair with this competition considering that's in a period of time where we've nearly sunk into administration, had Roy fucking Hodgson managing us and finished eighth twice.

Yes but they have only appeared in 4 finals in the past 14 years, so they have not appeared in more.

Nice number crunching from Swiss Ramble from our CL run this season.

Can't believe the allocation given based on 10 year UEFA coefficient. That has naught to do with the current UCL season, but if I understood that right (I probably didn't), the poorer part of Manchester would still earn a few truckloads of cash regardless how they'd do in the competition. Just because of the 10 year coefficient.

I'd sort of understood a small portion given that way, but not like how they do it now.  :butt

Weíll probably be without Bobby over there now. Origi to come in? Or Gini, Hendo, Milner and Fabinho in midfield and Mo and Manť up top? What are we thinking? After today I would love to see Keita stay in the team.

If Firmino isn't available then absolutely Salah or Mane play as the 9 imo. I rate Divock as a sub but he's not starting at the Nou Camp

I agree, we may go with a diamond in midfield and play salah and mane up top.or.play Keita in the half.space in Manes position and Mane centrally. There are options but Bobby would be a huge loss so here is hoping he recovers

Is that the latest? JK said after the game that he thinks Bobby's likely to make it.

I suspect he'll be out. Maybe that means Keita plays inside left and Klopp doesn't need to make a really tricky decisions about who plays in the 3.

Easy to forget sometimes with the pursuit of the league, we are in a CL semi against Messi's Barcelona. Our biggest game of the season coming up. What a tie!

Get through these two games and we are in a consecutive CL final. Not going to be easy, mind. Its a 50/50 tie, as is the other side of the draw. Two exciting ties.

If Bobby is out, Shaq to play on the right and Salah in the middle. Midfield 3 of Fabinho and either of Gini, Hendo and Keita for the other 2 spots. Or probably all 4 of them playing with only Salah and Mane up front

Regardless ... looking forward to it. Fancy going to Nou Camp with even Barca acknowledging that an away win is not out of the question. They will not be underestimating us

he is fantastic... only 19 more goals and he could be third in all time goals for Barcelona ... ahead of Kubala ... incredible.

ďItís kind of a small tear, and we will see. Itís Bobby Firmino so I would say heíll be ready for Barcelona (in the Champions League semi-final at Camp Nou on Wednesday).

Itís not 100%, itís not too far away, but itís Bobby Firmino and heís a machine so we will see.

Yeah, that's why it helps that Man United at least won't be in CL next season. The more we keep these teams out of the CL, the more we can keep their coeffs in checks.

And of course, we're looking our best in the CL which may last to next many years, so the future is good.

Really curious about what midfield Klopp will pick. He's been all over the park with the midfield this season, successfully. He has preferred Millner, Gini and Henderson in tough away games, but with Keita and Hendersons recent form anything seems possible. I could easily list half a dozen plausible combinations. I hope he gives Keita the chance.

Keita might well play if Bobby is out. Diamond midfield with fab at the back, with Wij and Milner to the sides covering the full backs.
