When you leave something on the train and it doesn't get handed in to lost property.

Lost my glasses on the train once.

Nobody handed them in. Unless some other blind bastard had exactly the same prescription as me, what is the point keeping them?!

This was a t-shirt belonging to my 15 year old daughter. She'd got it at a concert - the first one she'd been to without a 'responsible adult'. Meant a lot to her, andcshe can't get another. She was going to get changed into it on the train (family trip to London on Sunday for a couple of days) but ended up not doing and left it on her chair.

A child's fucking t-shirt! And the cleaner either pocketed it or couldn't be arsed putting it in lost property.

The fucking twat.

That I recently discovered you can get a criminal record for putting your feet on the seat of a train and other such misdemeanours.

Yes I know there's a separate thread for it but I'm just amazed and appaled.

The way so many people go potty when we get a day or two of nice weather.

American football (soccer) commentators dropping a commercial for some resort right into the middle of their commentary. It would be the death of the PL to hear Gary Neville spruiking Butlin's when Liverpool play Man United.
And all the world is football shaped, It's just for me to kick in space. And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste.

Shit chocolate. Easter is the perfect opportunity to experience the stuff that tastes likes an old candle versus the ones that literally melt into your soul.

People thinking the whole world wants to listen to their shite music from their car or house window as soon as there's a bit of sun drive me up the fucking wall. I don't even want to listen to my own music that loud, let alone whatever the fuck they are playing.

Need to speak to someone urgently regarding Barca tickets and have been ringing since 9am. It rings for just over 2 mins then cuts you off. I’ve rang back to back for 90 mins and not once has it been answered or been put in a queue system.

Restaurants when they take the menus away after you order and have to ask for them back when you want dessert. Just leave them there.

That is probably a ploy to get you to order a dessert, normally one of the waiting on staff will ask do you want the dessert menu, which puts the idea in your head.

When they move stuff around at the supermarket, so it takes you twice as long to find the stuff you want, even though you've been buying the same things regularly for months and it's always been in the same place.

They do it so you spend longer looking at stuff in the shop and might end up buying things you usually don't notice.

The clicky sound the wheel on a mouse makes when people are scrolling down a page, it sets my teeth on edge. Why can't people use the scroll bar instead ffs. You can tell when people in my office are browsing social media by the way they're just sitting clicking their mouse constantly like that!

On top of that no one else uses a mouse mat any more for some reason, so you get an awful scraping noise along the desk every time someone moves their mouse.

I really need to work in a room on my own.

Not as convenient.  Especially if reading a document.

To be honest I don't have a mouse mat either and a quick look around my office of 12 desks there are 2 mouse mats. An optical mouse don't need a mouse mat.

Love using a scroll wheel, but agree about the mouse mat. It moves so much better on one (a hard one, not one of those soft types) than on a wooden desk.

Restaurants when you ask for the bill and they bring it but then leave you for another 20 minutes, before you then have to ask for the card machine, when clearly by asking for the bill you wanted to pay and leave.
