We just seem to struggle so much with the low block. Have to say, at times like that, you often think we could do with a big arse number 9. Especially the way that Robinson overlaps and gets so much space. But we've never successfully managed that style yet, so perhaps not.

I'm genuinely confused as to how we haven't scored yet. We seem to be going through another one of those phases where we dominate and create loads of chances but just can't put any of them away. Hopefully we carry on creating the chances in the second half but actually make a couple of them count, otherwise I can see Leicester getting some sort of spawny goal. Such is the way of things.

How are we not leading this game. Great attacking play from us apart from the final ball. Feel a lot more assured with Ward in goal. Just seems to do the easy stuff well like when he gets the ball just smash it up the pitch. Hope we get the goal thatg our play deserves in the second half.

Although all of our shots have been straight down the throat of the keeper, either side on a couple of occasions and we score.

No issue with this low block. Liverpool haven't struggled at all. It's been a piece of piss finding space out wide to get behind.

As stated in the comms thread, the fringe players are showing off - I like the look of Grujic, Robertson and Ward. Robertson is now my favourite Liverpool player, should have a hat trick of assists to his name, absolute wand of a left foot (I dont think I saw him use his right foot once!?).

Grujic has looked good, a little raw, but I was impressed by some of his play at speed, and his turn on the ball is quite decent for a big lad. Oxlaide Chamberlain is a player I like, but hes not had much influence on the match so far - but loved his backheel to set Phil off on a ran which sadly came to naught.

We should be at least 3-0 up.

Am liking having a couple of players who really compete in the air in attacking positions (Grujic and Solanke). Normally we're either relying on Firmino using his body really well to win something, or snapping up the second ball.

Too slow at times, they are leaving us huge spaces to exploit but we're taking too many touches and passes. By the time we get the ball forward we're taking pot shots from the edge or forcing the pass. We are exploiting the space down their right though, been a little unlucky at times.

Ward has done well, but he's had very little to do in truth. The thing I've noticed about our defence tonight is there's at least some communication which is encouraging. Having said that Leicester have been extremely poor so far.

Coutinho has done some good things again, and he is beginning to look stronger. But our final ball is still not good enough, also we need Solanke in the box a bit more. We just look a bit toothless, and maybe we're a bit of guilty of trying to walk the ball into the goal. We need to shoot a bit more with conviction.

I really hope he tries Woodburn at some stage, think he could do well tonight.

Oxlade will take a while to drum the Arsenal out of him so he can start to realise his potential, will not expect much of him this season
