I'll happily take Messi if noone above me does! Easily worth it even if he takes a massive chunk out of the budget. 99 rated players win games by themselves, and you can always trade him on for 2 or 3 top players in the future if you want to. But yeah, I'm happy to be picking last in a small draft like this one. 2 top players guaranteed :D

Make the selection thread now, stop teasing us!!

Five titles in a row for you if you count Div 2!

Dukla up and looking forward, not to a title tilt, but to destabilise things in Division 1 a bit next season.

Forget Jordan's three-peats, forget Hurst's hat-trick & Pele's three World Cup trophies. Dresden have just reached new heights, matched just once before in the history of the beautiful game:

"Foooooooooouuuuurrrrr!!!!".....oh sit down Martin Tyler!

Thiago Silva has already been sacrificed to the SM Gods as we look to shake things up again before next season. PM if you want to deal!

What's cookin' in Serge's kitchen?

Mboopi replacement finally secured after flirting with disaster down the stretch this season, just three senior forwards to call on! Hoping for a nice rise in the review given his recent form & upcoming move to Bayern. Roma whiz kid Murky Antonucci also joins with an eye on the future, while re-signing Barak should net us a nice little profit to fund future signings.

Season 8 is done and dusted. Your updated roll of honour!

DIV 1:
Deportivo, Leeds, Deportivo, Deportivo, Dresden, Dresden, Dresden, Dresden

DIV 2:
Foggia, Parma, Torino, Dresden, Rangers, Sporting, Feyenoord, Independiente

DIV 3:

SLEEPING GIANTS CUP:

Congrats chaps!

Particular congratulations to King Luis for the FOUR, Ilias and Independiente for their first league title and an almost 100% record in a tricky division, Kesey for the gameworld's first 100% season and very nearly complete defensive shut out, and to Liam for winning Rangers' third cup despite being on holiday and very possibly not even knowing he'd made the final.

Not sure as I use the old interface which doesn't have the chat function. They defo changed a few things yesterday though.

Some good old-fashioned hustlin' going on at Dresden as we continue to revamp the squad. Filling out that home grown quota again, for a while Leroy Jenkins was our only German player!

My old pal Jimi Henrichs is drafted back into the defence while big bad Emre Can comes in for Marcos Alonso. Not the best timing perhaps with his impending Liverpool departure. I've always liked him though and at least he's handled the situation professionally. If he feels like it's time for something new while we upgrade with Naby & Fabinho, I can live with that ;D Speaking of Naby & Fabinho, a massive Greek Mafia hit job is in the pipelines.......

Pipped me to the post on that one.

A great signing for you, well played. I’d have thought you would be concentrating on your defence though given your current defensive record!  :P

Costa , Aboomerang and Lacazette will take some stopping. Surprised how my defensive record is so good when on paper my defence is average. Do deffo need to concentrate on that now.

Lots of movement at Dresden over the weekend! Our awful start to the season takes a bit of pressure off and means we can focus on rebuilding without the "distraction" (if you can call it that!) of a title race. We've come back from bad starts plenty of times before but the mountain seems a bit too step after taking just 3 points from our first 5 games, especially with Depor motoring away from the pack.

First up we wave a tearful farewell to the main man Thomas Meunier, who played in every single game of our four-peat. He started all but one of those games as well, no idea how fatigue never caught up with him. A bona fide Dresden legend, I salute thee! Got some flexibility at RB with both Emre Can & Fabinho able to play there (for now at least...) while Henrichs develops. Also out the door is Fred, can't have him polluting my squad after his turn to the dark side ;D Bought him for 8m just a couple months back so I'll take the 16m and run!

Coming the other way, Wendell fills the void left by Marcos Alonso at LB. Think it's an absolute scandal that he's still rated 89, he's been one of the best LBs in Germany for years now and has recently been linked with a move to PSG. Probably paying the price for Leverkusen's disappointing season. Quite like having the Wendell-Henrichs Leverkusen full back combo though!

Also very excited to be bringing this guy back, one of my original draft picks. He's had a horrible time over the past 18 months but is still very, very young and could become an absolute beast if he makes a full recovery from his injury. He's looked good for Swizterland in their recent friendlies so I'm going for it.

Next up, a punt and a half. Diadie Samassekou. Never watched the lad play ;D but I've read plenty of good things about him online and he was named in the Europa League Team of the Season. Adds a bit more depth in midfield & hoping he gets a big move over the summer.

And last but definitely not least, welcome SANTY!!! Missed out in both this world & Lawnmo's when he was first added to the database last year and been chasing him ever since. Finally got my guy!

Falling out of a title race is definitely a great chance to rebuild. It's a trap I fell into with my Depor side. Always holding onto that glimmer that we'd snatch it this year, when what the side really needed was a bit of a shake up. It's really important in this world to not be afraid of selling quality high value youth if the opportunity comes to spend it on someone even more valuable. Cashing in on Tielemans was risky, but that money (along with selling Rakitic) allowed me to pick up Modric and Eriksen, while giving Rabiot his place back in the starting 11. Since then we've gone on our best ever league form. Unbeaten in 13 matches now. It has to come to an end at some point, but I'm enjoying watching the side flourish for now.

Y'all ever seen rhyming wingers before? Hide yo' Edersons....IT'S MAMBA TIME!!!!

Finally got my grubby hands on him! Been chasing this guy for a while in both this world and with PSV. Steep price to pay, "Big Kev" De Bruyne has been a key part of our team for a while now and got his well deserved rise to 95 today. He's had his cycle with us though, won four titles, now it's time to see if we can repeat the trick with a new group of players!

Ndombele & Frenkie De Jong also join Dresden as part of the same deal. Looking forward to seeing how they continue to develop. I gave up a lot of talent to put the team together in the first place and ended up with a small squad without much room to manoeuvre in terms of trading. Bringing these kids in should make it easier to sort out deals in the future, either using them as trading chips or just as squad depth that makes it easier to trade other players.

Elsewhere, the Leverkusenisation of Dresden's defence continues. Welcome back Jonathan Tah, another one of my original draft picks  :D The German contingent is growing! Also means we now have a spare CB, more deals to come...

Gongrats on the big catch Luis! Hell of a player.

Kane having easily the most productive season of any player I've ever had in goals per game basis in this world. Now 13 goals in 6 apps. That's pretty crazy considering I've had Ronaldo and Lewandowski in the other world, and Neymar in this one. Ronaldo scored 17 in 24 for me in his best season.

Skriniar 91  8) 8) Fully deserved as well, he's been incredible this season. Surprised there wasn't more interest in him, I've offered him to a few teams in trades recently and got turned down every time.

Not been having much luck on the trading front recently actually, I must've placed 10+ bids over the weekend across the three RAWK worlds and barely got a counter-offer in response :(

This Serie A review has been really odd. Alisson gets a +2 and is now rated 92. Not necessarily undeserved in itself, but it's weird when you compare it to Ederson who only made it to 91 after being a key part of City's league winning team. While Donnarumma gets overlooked for the second time in a row and is still stuck at 89  :o

No rise for Manolas either (unless they do him tomorrow?). Thought he was nailed on for 92. Then you've got Mirko Antonucci who played in a Champions League semi final and got bumped to 73, while other kids who are yet to make a first team appearance are already at 75. Was hoping to make a quick buck on him but his value only increased by 60k FFS ;D

This Serie A review has been really odd.

All over the show. Best Napoli side ever in terms of points total I think, and they're bypassed. Matuidi drop is a kick in the nuts: first teamer, solid stats, Scudetto, Coppa Italia, CL QF, starter for France..... -1. Compare to Bonucci who has an absolute stinker of a season, misses the WC and only drops to 94. I mean howaaaay lads!

Dukla's veterans bricking it for the Spanish review.
