The other thing was - when the stewards were trying to sort me and a few others out having problems, there was an arl fella behind us with a paper ticket.....and his ticket didn't even scan either ffs !

I read there was an option to bring up a QR code on the ticket which the scanner will read, rather than trying to use the NFC stuff.
I think that might be getting used a lot next season!

Thats what i did, worked 1st time, just popped phone under the reader and was straight in. Whole process was fine for me, although it seemed luck of the draw on how vigilant the photo ID checks were,  talking to a few others seemed the KOP was very strict. I went through Stanley Park at main stand end and it was barely looked at.
You say Honey? I say Fuck off.

There is another option. Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple.

Edited screen shot did work with ID then yiu just scan the real phone with the real ticket is what I'm told.
Kop 304 checks were rubbish, he asked me to scroll down and show him my name then barely looked at it, then asked me for ID and didn't look at it properly. I Know cus I had my thumb on the name lol. Seems to me he was teaching me what I need to show next time etc..rather then check me properly. Scanned my barcode didn't work but then got my phone out and it worked after waving it for 5 seconds...stewards were laughing. The scanners need to improve also You need steward with gunscanner to speed things up luke concerts. These ID checks were for Covid reasons not touts so won't be happening with full grounds.

The fact that bar code was working for a lot of people shows that you could have that bar code on any phone too.

They can't as the Premier League are enforcing it across all grounds.
Well the club need to sort out the mess from yesterday then.

Are they?

Seen nothing about it.

I've seen something Ste, but I think it's more a long-term plan rather than something that will happen in the next season or two.

No ticket checks for my lot in 305, went through D (all be it way after my time slot at 3.40) - took a bit of waving around to get it to work but thought that was just me being too pissed

Know 3 people who went in with tickets not in their names
Can just login their ticket account on your phone and download the ticket - no name checks on either of those 3 people either

Club has good intentions but the execution leaves a lot to be desired

Seat Serve seems to be crap since they ditched the app in favour of a website-based interface.

Had an order for half-time food accepted at 3 o'clock.  It was cancelled without explanation at 4 o'clock, but the charge has today gone from pending to actual on my credit card.  Actual daylight robbery!

Yeah was thinking that.

When I went in December there was chaos. I got the wrong waiting area/entry point text to me, so had to be escorted to the right turnstile.

After that, the NFC pass didn't work. Stewards were clueless, the advisor/rep for the company providing the software was clueless.

Got scanned in using one of those yellow passes the stewards use. ;D

Can't imagine they will be going full-NFC in one go. It'll be madness.
