to be honest if I wasn't told it was him, I wouldn't have guessed it was him in the vid......he's not exactly that recognisable in it to me.

For a start, he seems to have covered his trademark top-knot thingy with a hat or something.

exactly, god I’d be unemployable if the stuff I said and did back when I was 16 was recorded so this is pretty minor, yes he shouldn’t use that M word but I doubt many 16 year olds know the significance of that kind of language unless they’ve had a disabled family member

I get the ‘he’s 16’ arguement. I could be a right twat in my bedroom when I was 16.
However If I knew that millions of people were interested in my life as a supermarket shelf stacker at the time, I definitely wouldn’t film myself doing it and send it around to my mates.

Let's be honest. Grown men say worse things all the time. Nevermind being 16, I've heard and saw similar things to that said about Kane all the time. You'd just need to be in a pub when he's getting interviewed and you'd hear it.

He needs to be careful and being educated about that word absolutely, but I think any handwringing over it is a bit much.

He looked good in terms of the touch. But didn't really see any cutting edge from his game as of yet. He looks a real talent though, more than any of the other kids. He won't look out of place playing a premier league game as a sub.

Thought this lad looked brilliant. Didn't look out of place one bit. He was great at opening up and making the most of space, a crisp passer and oozed confidence. Under Klopp, he can become a fantastic footballer.

I thought it was one of those cases where Elliott was about to turn 17 but he only turned 16 in April. That's an insane level of play from someone that age, playing against a Champions League team, even in a friendly.

Very impressed with Harvey against Lyon. He plays as someone much older then 16, great game intelligence etc. I think we will see him playing in first team competitive matches this season. The old saying is true, if you are good enough, you are old enough.
