Generally I'm about 25-30 seconds behind live when watching a match.
Are there any devices that I can get that will be live? Currently using a firestick

25-30 secs is pretty good to be fair.

It is, but I'd like to be pretty much live. I get that it may not be possible due to the nature of the service, but just checking if there is a different device to a firestick that would enable it?

It's not the firestick or device you are watching it on, it's because you are streaming. You will need to go to a sat or cable feed.

Any "live" broadcast into your home will not truly be live, despite what Martin Tyler says. There will be some latency in sending a signal from the ground to a satellite, then your dish receiving it back. Maybe up to a few seconds for sky tv. Listen to radio 5 (via a radio) and it will be ahead of the sat tv feed.

ISPTV has to go through more nodes as it is streamed, and probably encoded. 30 seconds behind sky feed is OK. My isptv is ahead of goal alerts on FotMob app etc, but I have used slower ones and I just turn off the notification's.

Yeah I was hoping to get closer to 'broadcast' live rather than in the stadium live as I'm aware of the slight delay in that anyway.

Mine varies between which stream I am using, sadly the Sky/BT ones are closest to the actual live feed, like you around 30 seconds behind. Supersport (SA) can be 3 or 4 minutes behind, Spark Sports (NZ I think) the same, Optus and DAZN are generally behind the Sky feed too, NBC is usually about a minute behind but that's the one I like to watch even though Danny Higginbottom and Tim Howard are doing more studio work now sadly!

Not sure why the UK channels would be closest to the broadcast feed though unless it is simply down to how far the signal has to travel (which Craig referred to in his post)

I think that's true, at least to an extent. When I still lived in the UK and would be chatting with friends in the US (all of us watching on regular cable TV), I would always see goals go in five or 10 seconds ahead of them.

Smart IPTV is in the LG content store but it depends on the provider because you need the url.

Would appear that you shouldn't renew when you get an email from their 'Auto Shop'. Instead, you should access the client area and buy a new subscription.

If anyone is having issues and want sorting for the new season we do 7 different apps, they come with a vpn and 24 hour support. Just message me for any more info. A few people on here run mine and can vouch for the quality.

1. Can you get Plex free?
2. Is it worth £40
3. Anything similar for free?

Plex is just an app, which is free. Good interface, easy to use.

What you're paying for is access to someone's server full of TV Shows & Movies. I imagine the quantity and quality of the content varies a lot between suppliers. I doubt you'll find that service for free unless you know someone personally, or perhaps find an offer from a new service offering a few freebies to get people to review it.

Free similar services would be using an app like CinemaHD, Stremio etc. But they use DDL or torrent links for streaming, and you're more likely to struggle to find links/sources for some stuff, whereas if it's there in the library on Plex, you can play it.

You're not actually paying for Plex you would be paying for access to a library of content,pretty sure I could get it for half that price though. (Should've just said "what Jason said")

Never used it myself but lots of people swear by it,I prefer to use one of the free apps (Cyberflix,CinemaHD etc) linked to my Real Debrid account,that way you're not limited to what your provider has uploaded,you can also link it to a Kodi add-on and download what you have watched yourself by going into your account.

Just on this for anyone that is due for renewal. They're advising that you ignore the invoice and don't renew, but instead buy a new sub. Puts you on a new server or something.

Cheapest way would be a cheap android box,best value for money imo is a firestick,if you don't need 4k then the fire stick lite is £29.99 or wait for Amazon to do another deal and buy the 4k anyway.

Same 😢. starting to think it's reached the end of its life cycle. Trying to find another source that's hopefully as reliable but no joy yet. Iptv looks the thing but with the clampdown on iptv I'm not sure if any of them will be reliable this season
