Yes I don’t mind sitting somewhere different every game but ST get chances at away games that members don’t and you are guaranteed all 19 without all the effort that comes in the members sales and additional sales

Yeah true!! Plus other benefits I guess

- They can get on the ACS for all cup comps without previous credits (I think)
- They’re guaranteed for all cup comps
- If you choose to buy on a match by match basis then STHs are given priority over members in Europe on the SAME credits
- They can sell tickets back to the club and still keep the credits
- The FA cup final would sell out once it got to STHs so members would miss out unless they’ve been to away games
- They don’t have to pay a yearly fee to be able to purchase tickets each season

Oh well, I’ll stick to my members card

Funny to think that if the club could reclaim every ticket then they would never dream of issuing season tickets knowing that they could sell memberships and still sell out pretty much every game.

In our group, 1 is on the list and the rest of us are not. We're all on 19+ for years and sit together.

If he gets one at some point he'd be in a part of the ground he does not want to be in, on his own, paying more money - and we'd have one less near us.

It works for you David, but for someone who just started out last season it is has been difficult and I’m not guaranteed much, unfortunately and season ticket holders get benefits that I previously outlined too

probably the wrong thread but id hate a season ticket, having to endure some of our games, paying an obscene amount of money for the pleasure.

I really enjoy the odd game that I get to and I'm on the ACS for the LC and CL.  These games are made all the more fun by sitting next to my friends (4 of us sit together)

the thought of sitting on me bill all season doesn't appeal.

I doubt it mate, there were about 20000 on the list. It goes down about 100 a year.

Normally next seasons prices for season tickets are out now and you can renew but I've heard nothing so far. I wonder when they will announce it.

number 40 on the list,  got  a letter Apr last yeay suggesting i could get one last summer,   really hoping this year it comes up.
Word of warning, if you got the letter this year and you are in the 100+ on the list then dont get your hopes up. As i said letter and phonecall from club a year ago, and im still waiting

i was 243, so aside from (you getting in before the lock, ya tw@ )  the list moved up by 203 places (assuming  you were 200)  last summer,   can anybody else validate this?

I was talking to my Dad about the list yesterday and he told me one of my cousins (big family like) had his position changed from 15k-odd to around 7k, the club just sent him a letter and he hadn't initiated it.

Anyone else heard anything like that? My position is wrong I know it is, joined 2004 and I'm 22k-odd.

Sounds about right as I signed up probably another year or 2 after and even higher than your dad at round 8k or something.

I think fan cards may have come out around this time and from memory you just had to tick a box to join the list?

I am currently 2011. I joined the list in 2003ish I think. In 2004/2005 it went mad as everyone selected the option to join the list when purchasing their fancard

Yeah, that's what I did, August 2004 I joined. I know loads did it, I'm not a moron. There's people who joined literally years after me who are a good few thousand in front of me.
